@Plebian Where is this picture you posted? I can't see anything on my end. Also can you give the link to where you found the pic in question?
My one hope is that the monkey girl (Fiddler?) sets this turret as a gun emplacement instead of moving around with it. Like mini-turret Engineer from TF2 or Combat Girl from Super Monday Night Combat (I wonder how many people remember this). This kind of deployable weapon is missing from Infinity too IMO, like a WildParrot, but with TR/Neurocinetics Combi Rifle.
Personally, I think the turret is mounted on a Roomba and just goes around shooting everything randomly, while Fiddler fixes it when it crashes against the walls.
To me the box artwork, especially of the left one, looked cooler and totally different. The tentacles girl looked like a very young woman on the artwork. The sculpt though is more like a woman in the forties to me. Still a cool sculpt, but I miss the hoodie and the orb. And it is a bit of a X-Men Jean Grey pose. Though it was just an artwork, the pose shown there was more like a cheeky young woman to me that is deriding her enemies with the pose. So if you just buy the box because of the art you will be suprised to see a completely different sculpt than the box art. Same for the other one with the gun since it doesn't feature it. But the ape-looking girl is still great and her 'tool' hopefully brings something new to the table.
I'm ... disapointed to say the least. For me the artwork was like 9 on 10. The real sculpt is more like a 3 on 10. I'm willing to wait for a closer picture to make up my mind.
40ie ? I think it’s grandma style I think these characters skills will make me probably use them.. i might make an alt skin with a nomad puppeter or something like this Little monkey is nice !
Its like a weird mix of Hillary Clinton and a Harkonnen, I think it may just be the angle of the picture and the paint job/photography. There are a few pictures that look way better in person, so this will probably end up being the same. I love the artwork though and that's what matters to me for my immersion.
Like I said, I still like them. The artwork of Gaia was just better and I will do a head swap maybe. So two boxes for me. :D Since I want an unmodified as well. And now I understand the 'orbs'. Already got ideas for the minions. The concept and rules sound like a lot of fun and damn that Mushashi combo was the first I had in mind.
