Hahaha. Yeah I have a lot of them. Including this dude (Old wip photo. He's done now) My ex had a bad ass Shutzenhunden (Sp?) Dolberman that would take me down all the time. Got addicted to the idea of war dogs. But not her lmao.
Yeah I work with war dogs and other service dogs a lot irl. I’d love seeing cool applications on the table.
Holy crap, that Al Fasid!! You get such a cool sense of movement with your models man! Bravo! And the video was great! One of the coolest Infinity armies I've seen! Loved the wee auxbot and it was great to see more pics of scarface! Got really "Elysium" vibes from the whole collection!
@oldGregg The dog thing is badass. What do you do? Hey thanks for all the support! Not done with this army yet. Can't wait to add to it with some Varuna models and more Ikari. I loved Elysiums designs (heart eyes, heart eyes, old exploding eye emoji) Here are some of my favorite models even if I've improved since I painted them and they're due a repaint. I made an animation for the GrimDark game as our channel will start covering that. (Not really my cup of tea so some other guys are handling it) https://i.imgur.com/lHXfTUb.mp4
I've started on some Varuna models. Mostly for my girlfriend since she's started playing and has become stupid good at the game. I don't like to say I'm pretty decent at things but we've been playing Infinity for a while. And she is nigh unstoppable with Varuna. She has gone something like 23/1 with them so far. Even managing to shell game an O-Yoroi into getting jammed. Also I don't like spamming this. But literally no one has actually entered lmao. The prize is a blister of your choice and an actually pretty bad ass 2x2 Vinyl Sticker. We're doing a give away because we hit 100 subscribers on the Youtube channel. Don't know if I should start a new thread or what. But I've been really distracted with the Foreign Company release. I recently began my journey to switch all of my paints to Scale 75 Scale Color, as well as set up a new work space and to try new techniques on this army. So it's a whole lot of new stuff for me. I have been love, love, loving Scale color and the application. I wish I could say that about my cheap Chinese brushes. This scheme is a lot of fun, and the new models are great to practice brush control on. Going for a District 9 PMC feeling to the army with an emphasis on reality and lighting. Also trying to up my studio photography.
Oh man, I absolutely love this new colour scheme! The colours match really well! And I vote you keep everything you paint in this one thread and turn it into a sprawling megathread! :-D
Either or is fine in my view. Some people consider it helpful to spilt their projects into multiple threads. Others find it easier to keep it in one.
If you're not happy with the brushes, save up some $$ and buy good ones. I have a few Winsor&Newton Series 7s, and they amazed me the first time I used them, such awesome points compared to the crappy GW brushes I was used to. They also last a long time if you take even slight care of them, I finally retired one of my #3s (that's the size of a GW Large Brush!) to basecoat-only duty after a decade of use!
I'll second that on the Windsor Newton series 7! They are a bit pricier than most brushes but absolutely worth it! And they do last longer for sure! And I was kidding about the sprawling mega thread! Couldn't agree more with Golem2God, do whatever you prefer! :-)
Yooo just wrapped up a tournament this weekend with my Ikari (narrative event really) Here is my army
