Hey, Its my 1st time posting on 'Events' forum. Shame on me :) Last week in Korea, the 1st Nerd con held its place. Goblin Latte Con, which was a joint project from two TRPG Cafe called The Laughing Goblin and The Dice Latte. From 5/4 - 5/5 the con held on Namsan, and we were very honored to have a booth and ITS; since we don't have any local shops to sell Infinity anymore! But we got invited due to our healthy community. (Thanks mates) We started preparing for the Event, focusing on newcomer sessions/showcases. Since this was the prototype con, we did go conservatively. So we prepared some nice Diorama scenery.. and off for convention! Spoiler: A LOT of photos from here Our minis, including mine, for newcomer sessions. Community people willingly lend me for such a usage - kind people they are, since it was quite sure they'll get hurt while the convention. Big Boys for convention. Warcors(Me, @DeadlyOcean ), and two more guys from our club. They labored. Our placement. On photo it looks quite cramped, but it wasn't. The place was neat, and thanks to the staffs we were able to prepare things very conveniently. Showcases were built! We should've bought more cases for the case (pun intended). (Click to see it bigger) The cases worked pretty well, TBH. It was displayed on the main halls - which dragged many interest with photos. We were happy 'bout that. ITS being prepared, solo run by great people from Dice Latte. Their eagerness were totally awesome. I heard SAA Won the ITS XD Sessions start, many people(mostly TRPG players) really enjoyed the session. We even got filmed by major board gaming Youtuber, who also played the game. Finely painted minis for session. On this day ALEPH suffered facing a Blackjack. Blackjack saying lol dude to ALEPH Morats facing Kazak.. Morat guy actually got really hyped about the game, took our Gaming club's location and left to buy something. Umbra Legate was the man. He killed 4+ Veteran Kazaks in melee. Session just kept going.. I bet we introduced Infinity to 40+ people that day. TAK by @Winsha arrived, now a serious interest hit our tables. His minis were awesome! Lunch break. If I could bring the Nacho chips from here, I could even make you guys visit the con. Yu Jing fighting eternally against their rival PanO Some speed-painting sessions. Sigmarines everywhere :o Epic-level DnD sessions. Busy day again, this was the opening of Day 2. Macdonalds Haqq vs PanO. Players were eager to call their enemies like 'Burger King eaters' or 'Mcdonalds assassination teams'. It amused us. Macdonalds doing their job After the sessions, we were dead tired but was really confident about the results. Numerous photos taken, many people showed interests about infinity. We were proud. Since we don't have any retail shops for selling Infinity, we managed to do this by our own community's prowess. Lucky we did got potential for making some great sessions; All thanks to my fellow Korean Infinity Players, and the most of all, owners of Dice Latte and Laughing Goblin. Thank you. I do hope people who showed interest turn into real Infinity players, but we'll see about that. They gotta start buying from overseas, assemble and paint; but if they do, They'll be one heck good Infinity player soon enough. Thanks for reading, and have a nice day. Regards.
We hit Youtube! Not very exclusively, but the MCs really enjoyed the session and our minis. Also they are quite interested about Infinity - We made it! Haha! It did got me worried we got no sponsors, and we had to deal it with our community power, but our community did it. We're soo honored and hyped!!
