Well, they're in Karakuri too. Moreover, if the JSA sectorial is to get a buff, the way to do it is not to make some of the pieces overpowered, but rather to rebalance the whole thing.

Tbh. I am a bit more concerned with stuff that has 40% chance to crit you...they really don't really care about your armor 9.

And merc sectorials having better link teams that "mother" sectoriala...because reasons. People talk almost like dogo is invunerable...rifle has 50% chance to wound him, so he is really not that tough to be put down. TR hmg still has better chance to shut down his smoke and wound him than him actually throwing smoke.

As someone who has played against Cameronians many times for many years, I can honestly say I think the best counter to them is sufficient rooftop cover and dodging.

Rooftop cover refers to LOS blocking terrain pieces on rooftop areas, that allow your ARO pieces to choose where they can and cannot see - ie, gaining visibility of important midfield areas but not to easy sweeper locations. Lots of people do not include this cover on their tables, and it leads to an imbalance of ARO pieces being weaker in general and sweepers being stronger. Being able to cover wide areas with AROs, especially MSV or simply volume through many random combi rifles, is probably the best answer to a fast template/smoke unit like a Cameronian

The dodge skill also has a strong effect on Cameronians. Most troops are dodging the templates on 50% to 70%, and Cameronians are surprisingly and hilariously crap in melee. The grenade, while a single strong roll, can still wiff easily just like all other single rolls and only does 1 DAM 13 roll. If he's not getting multiple dudes under the template, these are pretty inefficient forms of attack given all the orders spent to get up the table. Meanwhile an effective defense will have random AROs against an overly aggressive Cameronian who is trying to get those sweet multiple hits.

That covers Dog Warriors and Cameronians, but McMurrough with his Berserk, strong standard melee and sometimes regular impetuous... yeah your just fucked there, dunno how to stop that asshole.

    This. A hundred times this.

Never spare your rooftops from some stylish billboards or cargo containers/boxes, stuff makes the vertical axis a lot more interesting to play on.

Jammers are still your friend, if you have them. And with most Dogs still Extremely Impetuous (not sure why McMurrough suddenly chilled out), they can be baited into getting jammed. It won't stop them, but slow them down before your next turn where you can deal with them properly.

All of the Dog Warriors are vulnerable to Viral weapons.

Loup-Garous have Viral Rifles with X-Visors,

Aida Swanson has Viral Mines and a Viral Pistol.

Lots of models have Adhesive Launchers in Ariadna, which can Immobilize Dog Warriors with a bit of luck.
