Steps to recreate: 1. Play NA2 2. Include a Spec-Ops in your army 3. Give it Scavenger special skill and HMG weapon 4. Put it in a fireteam of at least 3 members 5. Scavenge an enemy HMG 6. ??? 7. Profit Is this the first time it's theoretically possible to get a Burst 6 weapon in the game or have I missed something?
Why? We already have linkable Fatality Lv2 so who cares about Burst 6 ? (unless they make it to Fatality guys...)
Meh about FAT2... the sky isn't really falling. But yeah the HMG thing existed before with panoplies, so I doubt it's something that needs to be "fixed".
Most of these weird outcomes are fine because they're rare. It might affect a single game and become a cool story you tell about the time you got to roll 6 dice, but it's not a systemic issue. The BS that you could pull with Sync'd Civvies in ITS9 was of this type: sure you could so it, but honestly it wasn't likely to come up often enough to be a factor. And then everyone got to start the game with a synced Civvie... That's the difference between Fat 2 in a core link and managing to get a B6 HMG. One is a factor in every single game vs Ramahh/Shas the other is a very occasional cool story.
Rasail Spitfire + Chaksa Pistol -> 6 dice rolled. Technically it's not a Burst 6 attack, but you are rolling 6 dice and the enemy has to decide what to shoot back.
