Since a REM in a fireteam with a Active Proxy LZ on it can not benefit from Supportware do applying a supportware program on the a REM of the fireteam cancel the Active Proxy LZ "state" or can that REM just not use the Stats of the Apsaras?
A trooper cannot benefit from a Supportware program and from this Special Skill at the same time. So you would have to choose between the Supportware and the Proxy LZ benefits each time you spend an Order or ARO, just like Supportware and EVO-Gadget Supportware.
But it applying a Supportware do no "cancel" the Active Proxy? So you leave the marker but decide what you benefit you will use?
See the EVO-Gadget Programs for examples: Example of use of Kaleidoscope A player who had activated the Fairy Dust Supportware (see Infinity N3) with one of his Hackers now declares the activation of the Kaleidoscope Supportware with a different Hacker. As this player possesses a Heavy Infantry trooper (benefiting from Fairy Dust) who is also a Hacker (and so able to benefit from Kaleidoscope as well), the player now has to declare which Supportware program will apply to this trooper on each Order/ARO while both Hacking Programs are active.
I see where you are coming from, it is optional, but what about the fact that the entire team gets Number 2. If you use the Supportware does the entire team lose Number 2? If so, do they not get it back till the use another order/ARO that actually uses Jumper LZ? If they don't lose Number 2 then they are still benefiting from it.
Check for each trooper. So any trooper that used Supportware wouldn't be able to take over as Team Leader.
Because the rule is worded 'All remotes in a fireteam with an Active Proxy LZ marker also gain Number 2 special skill' wouldn't they all have it or all lose it? If you choose to not use the skill then you can't use any of it so I would think they would all lose Number 2.
Because it tells you to check each trooper. A trooper cannot benefit from a Supportware program and from this Special Skill at the same time. Not 'A Fireteam cannot benefit from...'.
