I think there were alot of yu jing players who were only running jsa stuff. So once they went na2 of course the yujing numbers went down. I think over time it will all balance back out.
This is one of the biggest reasons I've always felt that the upset regarding Uprising was a bit silly and the pushback against the idea of Military Orders as a NA2 is misunderstanding the reasoning. JSA, like Military Orders, realistically was able to be split off with minimal issue. Ninjas stayed in YJ as 'mercenaries'(effectively, from the fluff perspective of "the clans that stayed liked the money") and the same could be done with the few non-MO places we have Knights.
I have no issues with the Uprising happening. We'd seen rumblings of discontent clear back in the original Human Sphere, and a suggestion that all was not right in YJ in the original rulebook (the Keisotsu were listed as a unit in the N1 book, as opposed to having the all the various sub-nations of YJ being trained to Zanshi standards). I have grave issues with how the Uprising was written. And especially with the Kempeitai and Yuandun.
I have issues with members taking a fictional fluff and applying it in reality.... A player decided to play a CBL in a tournament, I am expecting discussions about the validity of using CBL in a tournament ectr, but not a desire for the player to be beaten, on the table or otherwise, simply because of his choice of army.
Then could we please leave the "most repressive regime in Human History" stories for the Grimdark Game? And perhaps CB shouldn't have copy/pasted the Einsatzgruppen into the Yuandun unit fluff if they didn't want people getting upset about it?
Or perhaps folks who’ve long since made their feelings clear on the matter could not bring it up ad infinitum?
No news reports of the hotel collapsing in on itself, so they must have kept it under a modicum of control...
Man Congratulations, Heard this morning that Ben kept you too a tie for round one? thats a shame man, but coming from that and going second is an awesome effort
Yeah Ben and I went 6-6 draw in Unmasking, and I though I was sunk. Was gonna be happy just to get Top 10. Then Majored my remaining 4 rounds, clawed back up, my Round 5 was on second table, ended with 40something OP which broke a pile of ties. Noone had a huge streak of majors. Myomer had 14 TP iirc, next few places all had 13. I'll do a bigger debrief in the next day or two.
Kinda curious how well did all that YJ place. And I also find it amusing how Corregidor just shot itself into first place out of the perhaps leftest field possible.
Well done! I don't hang out enough in the Nomad section, I don't recognize Myomer's name. Does s/he post here? Looking forward to it!
I'll stop calling it the Imperial SS as soon as CB writes a purge of all those idiots into the fluff.
Some no name Dark Horse Winning... Figures. I kid... The Dudes a legendary player I heard about him before I even picked my first Faction. He's been on a podcast or 2...children sing songs about his victories and as he moves around the country new metas tremble and the old Metas fight for Top Spot
Yeah, Myomer's a top US player. Routinely a winner in Southwest/Midwest events. I haven't heard details about his games, but I reckon it's a good example of a sharp competitive talent seeing useful tools and leveraging them well.
