Something like unicorns, we all heard about them, but no one has seen them(except in movies and cartoons).

btw. why are they so exciting? B2 weapon, either though is strong doesn't excite me that much, when people have B5 MSV L2, ignore cover and shock(so essentially BS 18 vs everything in good range) spitfires in link team walking around, (while this is at best in good range B2 BS12 if enemy is ODD/TO)...

And your B5 MSV2 remote is S4 and has to walk with 4 buddies, which limit it's roaming potential. And is hackable. And brings it own repeater, which can be a liability. And will be disabled to a single (unlucky) wound such as a mine, since it dodges on 4- and has 0 ARM.

I'm not saying the samekh FTO is strong (well, i don't like it very much to be honest), but we have other toys. Rudras, nagas, Dart ... I don't feel the core rui shi is such a game breaker versus powerful midboard camos.

Samekh isn't exciting, what is exciting is CB finally remembered OS exists and fixed one of the problems. Pity they couldn't give us interesting stuff in first place.

But you want to put him in fireteam, guess that fix was to give him wildcard, so in that regard it same as rui shui. He is also hackable. Own repeater can be liability and bonus, depends.
Samekh will aslo be disabled to single unlucky wound, also has arm0... so can't really see comparasion here? But samekh has 15% less chance for crit than rui shui, so he is actually less prone to enemy crit.

That comparison makes no sense, as Rui Shi and Samekh serve completely different roles in a list.

If you really want to compare something in Aleph to Rui Shi, it would be Rudra or Dakini HMG. But please open a new thread for that, this is simply a celebration thread about Samekh getting fixed.

As if there were nothing interresting is OSS ...

That's why i wrote a second sentence, saying that i dislike samekh but we have other tools that are far better than a brittle linked remote that can do only one thing. By the way, you're comparing a mid range MSV2 spitfire to a long range missile launcher ... They don't have the same purpose.
And being hackable is not really a problem on a missile launcher. I mean if you are close enough to hack it or put a repeater at it, i think you can do whatever you want to do with it ...

It used to be 22 points for Missile Launcher, now it's 17 as it should've been.

I love how the FTO somehow is a discount to the non-linkable Samekh :p

FTO isn't a discount. Missile Launcher is. Linkability does not cost points by itself, in any army. Only Haris and Duo skills (again, not linkability, but the skills itself) cost a point.

    Finally.

Now CB just need to give the Asura BS15 and the Danavas a "downgrade" (lel) to SMG+NWI and I have no more complaints.
