We have 26 characters and it has been announced that by the end of 2019 we will have six more for a total of 32. Over a year ago as SoF and S&M our community became excited to se the possible combinations of four characters grow from 70 in the CoreSet to 1820. The Combinations formula is C(n,r) = n! divided by r! (n-r)!. So 26 characters give 14,950 and 32 will give 35,960 possible four character teams. That last number boggles my mind. To put it in perspective suppose you set yourself the goal of playing one game of Aristeia! each day and decided never to play the same team twice. You could play for almost 100 years before you would be forced to pick the same team again.
edit cos i can't do math unless i type it out If we're talking unique teams here do we want to consider the deck building side as well? Each character can take 2 Tactics out of their 4. This is a total of 6 different combinations per character. Over 4 characters that's 24 different combinations per team. Then let's also consider that there are new base deck(s) coming out. Mind boggling numbers here!
