Like, I kinda agree, but they are SO FAR out of scale with the modern Knights it's painful. They are much nicer models 'though:
<3 they won me so many games ..... So many successfull dodges .... And you could field 5 of unique sculps....
Yeah, I do particularly like the starter Magister. 'though I didn't like the Shotgun, so I liked having 3 with just melee weapons in hand. For work with Joan ;-)
Btw. Anyone noticed how MO only got things updated which can be rehused in NCA or Shval ? Like literally no other Order has new minis.
Youd think that in traditional fashion teutons would have gotten an amazing model to go with its shit rules
CB guy1: "We couldn't screw MO even harder than that couldn't we?" CB guy2: "Hold my beer." I can see them removing that link from MO precisely for the reason to give Sval an unique HI Link. Certainly would boost sales for the icy boys.
So if you want to start with MO I agree that the 300 pts box is a great way to start. But then I would recommand the magister box (yeah, I prefer the old one) before anything else. Hospitalier knight can be your proxy for Santiago, and you are not likely to play more than 4 "orders" knights at the same time anyway. The magister on the other hand are super usefull and will probably be your base for any non-joan list. Or if you want to add a knight take a single blister (unless you got money to spend and definitly want this santiago box). The sergents in the core box can proxy any sergent profil (including Konstantinos) and I rarely play more than 3. The TO sergent with multi sniper is a great profil. I usually use the hexa sniper as a proxy for sergent sniper (not specific reason, I just like her better). Might be an idea if you don't want to buy the old starter. From there you can add whatever you would like to play. Have a nice game :-)
