it just says "any result of 1" It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to me that you are simaltaneuosly increasing your roll in some cases but not others all on the same Burst
And Tarik. But yeah if you're in the open its 56% assuming it works that way as suggested above. These pieces are the deadliest things in the game by a long shot.
Also not to be a conspiracy theorist but I'd put big money down that there was a long conversation about how they could avoid giving PanO Monstruckers.
"It`s not your list, is you!" officially RIP 3/2019 Welcome to the era of the auto includes (ignore me, having a really shit day)
NCA was already strong and didn’t need to be touched to stay competitive. Everything it got is just gravy.
Chainrifle, Drop Bears, SMG, C+ for 13 points and it's WIP13(+1). Bolt CoC for 27 is in Vanilla. ...someone hold me. Seriously though we should briefly take the time to have a good laugh at the Yu Jing CoC+KHD Pheasant while we still can. Then call an armstice and rally next to the State Empire to call bullshit on that FAT2 B5 thing.
That FTO Aquila is a Specialist Operative, which makes me take back everything negative I said about him. He's legitimately awesome! Though I still stand by MR being more of a bonus than a selling point for a unit
I'm not super worried about the fat2 b5. I've done some games against linked tarik in order for my buddy to get some ramah practice in and myself to practice against it when they previewed that he would be a wild card and it's not as bad as people make it out imo. For tarik since he doesnt have any other mods likes mimetism or camo ornament visor it feels like it's the the thing that gives him a chance to win a fight.
Well even in -3 you can just dice it. It doesn't care about Total Immunity (unlike pretty much everything else), circumvents most of the FTF mechanic and with a little bit of luck you can get completely screwed by it. And I'm not talking about the regular Crit chance that's always there, because we all know that just happens. But simply doubling it makes it all the more likely that you keep getting lucky. RNG having more impact than Rangebands and MODs is a stupid thing to have in Infinity. A 6-4 Superjumping BS16 B5 Spitfire and a 6-4 BS18 B5 Redfury would have been pretty damn good already. Considering their platform is fast, has 2 Wounds, good CC and unhackable. That's what IA and MO have to work with. Add FAT2, Lt2/Protheion and you get into bullshit territory. IF CB wants the stupid rule in the game, so be it, but it could at least cost a big chunk of points.
My view on Fatality is that, most of the time, I don't want to contest my opponent's best troops via ARO anyway. So whether a unit has a good chance of beating me, or a really good chance of beating me, I wasn't likely to stand my units up in their LoF anyway. I'm excited to put my VIRD on the table against Shas. Thematically awesome, and should allow for some interesting games. I'm particularly glad to have limited camo Helots for denying Speculo Minelayer placement. The stock on Kamau's Shock Immunity continues to go up, given how many ways Shas has of putting an AP mine in your face.
I've just been messing around with Haqq for a little now and already I'm feeling the ire of Tarik without the link in place. He more or less soloed my friends OSS with 5 out of 7 orders being crits and one of those was a movement order. Sheskin is just going to make that even worse and I play combined aswell.
Given all the NWI in the game now, that shock ammo in the MR is getting more valuable every release. I thought the FTO Aquila would get the haris skill but instead it has Specialist Operative which is pretty awesome. A tough HI specialist its a pretty good deal. I think now theres a serious argument to be made between the Swiss HMG or the Aquila FTO haris. I think the Aquila FTO is a better deal than the Swiss AHD because the Aquila is not vulnerable to KHD). Again, bolts for throwing drop bears mid field + Aquila specialist sounds like an awesome Haris.
