Asawira with Muyibs is a strong aggressive combo I think. Especially with that nice low SWC HRL for Muyibs. I'd be thinking Asawira Spitfire and Shotgun, Muyib HRL, Doc+ and either LT or Leila?

Asawira Doc+BSG seems to be interesting, as far as Asawiras go.
Competition for "squire slots" was always fierce. You have KHD (and D-charges), LGL (having own smoke may be interesting, especially in LI lists), but also mines.

Some of these needs can be alleviated by having Ghazi support (which is a reason to run paintrains in HB, of all places, I guess) though.

So...Hassassins...that Farzan FO with MML 1 and D-Charges is pretty sweet. And now I can even play my favourite Haris (Asawira Spit and BSG Doc with Minelayer or HRL Muyib) twice in one list:-D

The Lasiq Core is still here and so it shall be used:smiling_imp: Far better than Zhayedan...who would have thought.
Sadly the Ayyar became even more unappealing in HB. We also didnt get NCO Ghulam...that would have been great. But ok...
Its interesting to see, if the new Remotes are here to stay or if they are a glitch.

Didn’t notice the little farzan bonus, that’s cool. Why do you say the Ayyar is less appealing now? They didn’t really add anything that infringes on his design space.

I'm a little miffed that RTF & QK both got the Ghulam NCO/Smoke LGL but HB didn't. In vanilla I liked the Muyib Smoke LGL because its relatively safe way to use your LT order. While its not a big loss for HB, its the principle of missing out on the option.

As for the Farazan. nice bonus. The MML1 is ok, but not a main reason to take it. But the D-Charges on an infiltrating specialist makes it more interesting Now if they would add Minelayer to it I would bring 2 every game.

Because there is even less reason now to play an unlinkable HI specialist. Asawira are so much better for only a few points more and they can drag their Doc along with them and have a cube on top of that.
Before the update, I could see some use for him to take the opposite flank and do objectives or some fighting there, but now I can have another Asawira Link or a Lasiq Link with specialists instead.

@emperorsaistone Maybe it’s a play style thing, but I think his greatest value is in his marker state.

It seems CB always wanted to discourage Ghulam link in HB a bit, although it's still a nice option. I am not surprised it didn't get a buff.

Speaking of which, non-sniper Lasiq FO instead of this Fat1 debacle would've been amazing and even moderately fluffy, but tough luck.

Farzan should be able to carry the plays here, though. A bit rougher in LI with that, but then again, HB is way better in LI now than it used to be anyway.

Well, that's not the best of marker states, has its uses though.

@Barrogh Fair. It’s not quite camo, but it does give him options that the Asawira does not have. Doesn’t make him better, but for me it doesn’t make him substantially worse either.

After playing HB for two years now, I almost always had praise for the Asawiras and next to none for the Ayyar. As I said, the Asa brings so much more to the table in HB. In Vanilla its the other way round. In a different Meta it might be different, but I have yet to find something where I would prefer the Ayyar, except for Mine clearing.

I dont see the FAT1 profiles as debacle. You can take them or leave them. But especially the Viral Rifle and the Shotgun benefit enough from it imho.

Yeah, LI could be a bit easier now. But you still give up a lot of HBs strenghts.

Well, +0,5 SWC on sniper makes it significantly less attractive.
The reason I'm disproportionately annoyed by those extra profile (good thing they are optional) is that it shows that CB thinks that +1 DAM is equally or more valuable than some -3 MODs which tend to cost 2-3 points without extra SWC.

Well, Q-Drones were always around, hence "average".

Yeah, for the Sniper its a tough sell...

Well, on template and multiwound weapons its definitely worth more, but you are right that 2 points is to much.

New Farzan is very lovely. I infrequently took them because I found them to be a bit fragile, but being able to put down something 1W PLUS d-charges for only a point makes him quite nice. We'll see about the Ghulam NCO and Rafiq RF being glitches or not. It could be truly disincentivizing Ghulams, but the QK Rafiq also has them linkable with the unavailable Maghariba, so we'll see how it pans out.

In the PDF Ghulam NCO is listed Ramah and QK only.
