Yes you can choose not to assign available burst to a target to limit the use of consumables

It still becomes a problem if you need to traverse a wall that has less height than the base's diameter, but are higher than S4 (for example, the standard containers from Operation:WordWord boxes). As you can't have your base "fully in contact" with such surface, you have to go around it, so if your table has a lot of mid-sized clutter like that, it can really limit S4 minis movement.

Most people would allow you to traverse that just not end on it: IE Climb up - Move actions - Climb down, however I take you point (and I think it's slightly bigger than 6" so you'd be stuck anyway).

It's the same kind of problem as an S2 model not being able to climb over a 3mm thick wall. They can climb up one side and down the other, but technically can't stand on the 3mm at the top of the wall to Move over it.

So Neoterra and Hassassin Bahram got a few new options with the big ones beeing Bolts getting KHD and Haris profiles.

Now my hopes are up again that Corregidor might also get a few lil profile tweaks...

I don't think I've missed anything but there's zero other changes except link teams...

Yes, no changes apart from the ones they showed in the video. I am sad for Wildcats, Mobile Brigada and Iguana. Would have been a great opportunity to make them more valid. The good changes summarized: We got a linkable Daktari now.

And even then... they're decidedly "meh".

Alg Core got a buff, Jag Core got a buff. Wildcats basically unchanged (although Dak in Wildcat core isn't awful): they didn't even get 1.5SWC HRLs.

Honestly I'd prefer no changes to these changes.

Damn, with CJC, QK, and Foreign Company I really thought Iguana might get an update. Oh well, at least I still don't need to buy an S7.

Yeah, I was hoping her and Annie both got Tactical Sense on the TAG profile only.

Is there any case to using wildcat core over the Alguaciles + Brigada/Tsyklon core now? I get a higher ARM Missile Launcher (vs the wildcat HRL) both at BS13 with fireteam bonus, and a second wound. Still a bit more expensive, but the payout seems better?

LUPE BALBOA Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Panzerfaust, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (0 | 23)
    DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14)
MOBILE BRIGADA Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 40)
MOBILE BRIGADA Lieutenant MULTI Rifle + Light Flamethrower / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 39)
    ALGUACIL Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)

    2 SWC | 126 Points

    WILDCAT Lieutenant Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19)
WILDCAT Heavy Rocket Launcher / Assault Pistol, Knife. (2 | 20)
WILDCAT Boarding Shotgun, Stun Grenades, Deployable Repeater / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 17)
LUPE BALBOA Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Panzerfaust, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (0 | 23)
    DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14)

    2 SWC | 93 Points

33 pt difference, but you're gaining a wound on the brigadas. Wildcats always seemed squishy to me. The dak could be replaced in either case with a specialist of the core team if you're bringing a tomcat too. Lupe covers that nicely, but redundancy in specialists is good.

I'm not an avid Corregidor player but I always liked the units so i play it occasionally.

    I was thinking...
Lupe is wildcard, so you could play it in a gecko link.
And she actually bring a lot to the party.
Mimetism and BS 12 give better odds against non MSV troops.
Smoke is definitely useful to bring the Gecko where it really hurts.
    Nanopulser is a plus.

It was good to get a fireteam update to keep standardized. If they wanted to wait for a full update who knows when it would have happened. It is kind of sad because it means we probably won't get an overhaul any time soon (and they may as well Combined Army Carlotta).

The main Wildcat core is probably going to be Spitfire now, Alguacile reactive cores were already more popular and they got buffed in that role.
However Lupe and Dak are both buffs to active Cores of any type. So built based around Spitfire or Brigada HMG are probably alright now. Tsyklon is a good active peice but we can't link an engineer with it.

Jaguar link did get a pretty good buff to get specialists and a better shooter but it's not that massive.

So am I understanding Army correctly that only up to 3 Alguaciles can be in a core now?
