Well Sekiro is royally kicking my ass. I'm on the last boss Isshin, Sword Saint and it feels like I'm never going to beat this guy. Anyone else playing?

I'm not huge on the souls-aesthetic so I will be skipping Sekiro. Will pick up Ghost of Tsushima though, that one is more my speed

But so great! Damn Miyazaki, you did it again!

Hard. Harder than the souls games and BloodBorne. The exploration is easily the best of any game they've put out, there's a stealth element thats really fun but kind of broken. Enemies frequently discover you from beyond walls and through floors, but its not really a bad thing. The game is more about it's hyper-aggressive sword fighting, deflecting the enemies' swings and scoring hits when you see an opening.

My one issue is with the bosses. There's a ton of bosses, so many so that they repeat themselves frequently, and they're all really tough to learn.

The vertical exploration is superb. And have the interconnections with the From Software seal of quality.

    I'm just amazed.

Oh god, I did it. I finished Sekiro! That was insane, I really didn't think a video game could ask this much out of me. Often at times this felt like Miyazaki seeing how far he could push the difficulty and still have people play the game

I have short windows of time to play, but now I'm stuck at...

...the battle with Genichiro at the top of the Ashina's Castle. Super-epic, and I know what to do...but this guy is killing me again and again and again...

I feel your pain... He's definitely one of the toughest the game has to offer, you really have to memorize his attack pattern and nail down those parries.
