Burst 2, DT ammo, and adds a -3 mod to the defender.

Only down side is that the target has to have wounds.

And potentially sixth sense depending on how tricore plays out.

Ok I threw up in my mouth a little thinking about that. This has potential.

Lgl without 5 man link bonus is wasted. Tried it with the Kamael and it isn't worth the orders.

Derpy counter-response to derpy response: good thing you're not obliged to take the LGL version in vanilla when the cheaper SMG profile exists hey.

But more seriously, also worth noting in reference to Borings' original post and your response is that there's a lot of difference between the Kriigel LGL and the Kamael LGL beyond just the +1 BS. A Kamael LGL is being dragged along for no purpose but the grenades so you're kind of trying to force the spec fire to happen, whereas a Kriiegel wants to get into an upfield nook somewhere to start making use of the Eraser pheroware. An LGL niches nicely into that goal.

Now personally the LGL profile is a bit too expensive for me, even if it is lighter on SWC than the Kamael, so I'll probably stick with the SMG profile in vanilla and the smoke launcher in spiral. But Borings has come up with some pretty interest left-field list builds in the past so when he says something is interesting I'm inclined to at least see what he comes up with off the back of it.

How effective is the Kriigel agent without his Reek Escorts? Thanks!

He's not dependent on them at all, since he can join any triad he wants (having the fireteam: triad rule). It's more that Reex are pretty mediocre and become maybe ok if they're in a triad with the Kriigel.

The only way I could imagine a reex in a gunfire is under the mirrorball of the kriigel. Otherwise, I think they are far better as backline ARO with their shotguns

Hum totally desagree : for backliners you have helot guys costing 9 pts or kauri sentinel. Rex are mean to attack (loadout is clear about that)

My 2 cents on what pheroboost is.. i think it might be a kind of stincking fast panda

I get the Isolated TAG/Killer Rem to stop an Str Rambo
    But most fireteams have wounds.
    Kriigel stops firearms cold...
    Says Ava: 4 on Reex.
So could he be in a 5 man core?
If so is there a wildcard to add in Spiral Corps?
I could see this guy in every Spiral Corps list. Especially if his FT can be tweeked.
    Smoke and mirrors unit ftw

Can we use Mirrorball as a special dodge against MSV trooper?

For backline defence its probably a toss up between a kauri and a reex, the Kauri are only really better if its visors are being used. The cheaper Reex option has an awesome weapon selection.
No, its on the wiki page that it is not f2f.

Once you put the SMG Kauris in suppressive fire they are quite hard to deal with. SSL2 and MSV1 is quite hard to outcome and you are forced to outshot them which is usualy risky and not order effective (unless you win the FtF on first roll which is not such obvious.

Also chaksas with the Heavy Flamethrower are quite good area deterent when positioned correctly.

Sure thing, but both of those options also have their own downsides. I'm not saying that the Reex is the best choice but all three do different things.
Personally i'd probably reach for a chaksa but thats more down to baggage than anything.
