So I have an untouched 300pt Tohaa box and I just Pre-ordered the Spiral Corps box (I am currently a CA player, I love the alien factions). I am debating between a Rasail box and the Kerail box. What would be better for overall utility? Also what are the opinions of the Kaauri Sentinels?
Are you going to play Vanilla Tohaa or Spiral? If you are planing to play Vanilla, grab the old models before they are gone, you can buy the Rasail or the Sentinels later. If you plan to play de Sectorial, the Sentinels give you more utility and are cheap enought to serve as fillers. The Rasail, on the other hand, is another attack piece, like the Kiel-Saan (well, not exactly like it, what I mean is that both are used for killing enemies).
I plan to go with Spiral Corp. They are like an alien Cerberus from Mass Effect. So I guess I will pick up the Sentinels next. Thanks. What older models are you referring to, might make a checklist/wish list to keep track?
Basically the older models that aren't in spiral corps. Off the top of my head: You should already own: Starter Box Makaul Kotail Nikoul Also going away are: Gao Tarsos Gao Rael Sakiel Gorgos Gorgos Pilot Theres a proper list floating around somewhere but I can't track it down at the moment.
I think there is already enough utility in the Spiral Corps box. I would pick the Rasail as it is a really scary unit especially as Lieutenant in combination with a Kaeltar CoC. 3 Wounds + Synchronized HFT with a SymbioMate and Lt. Special Order is extremely hard to stop and lets your opponent to make really difficult choices. The Kaauri are nice if you feel a lack of countermeasures against Camo or Impersonators, but jou already have other options like sensor chaksa or the SC exclusive MSV2 Taagma loadout.

The gorgos pilot is a great sculpt and useful to proxy about anything. The sukeuls are also nice new sculpts you could use as proxies in Spiral (one has a breaker Combi, the other missiles, which fits less well without a conversion).
So looking over this list and looking at the posted Troop list for Spiral Corp there isn't a lot of cross over for required unit. I may pick up the Pilot and Sukeuls (A solid unit in genreal) to use as HVT and proxies or something but other than that I don't think I need to rush to obtain these. Thank you for your help, though.
