What would you like to seee in the shasvasti rework?

I'm hoping for Chrysalids.

 

I'd be happy with some new Hungries! I liked the first edition better more than the current.

AVA 1 Gwailo? WTF? Other than that i'm excited for it.

 

In before redesigned into a "Predatoresque" S5 unit. lol

 

So we're getting a standard LI - expensive, but well armed and fully playable. Aswangs got the axe, or were redesigned into something else. New - and very decent - Lt. option in Mentors. Gwailos are apparently getting moved into Skirmishers category. Taighas are a warband - I wonder how will they differ from Hungries.

There are some typos there. Gwailos are listed as AVA 1 while Carlos said AVA 4, I think. He mentioned some fireteams where the picture shows none. Still no Imetrons, R-Drone at AVA 1, remotes in fireteams... still too soon to judge.

And I'm not a fan of the new Shas look, especially the color sheme. I expect a lot of converting. Will depend on the actual models.

I love the new Shasvastii design, they're even better than I imagined.

 

I fully expect the hacker and BS to come out, and no SMR for the next five years :P

Otherwise this is a unit that will sit there, being a Lt. and saturating our DZ with markers.

 

A lot was left unseen.

I do not thik we can really extrapolate from the data we have, because apparently everything is getting changed. There are only very few things that look like they will be the same.

I am excited about Shas, and I actually really like the new design. But yeah, I'm witholding judgement until I see the army as a whole, because it looks like a lot has changed ( and honestly - it had to. Shas was probably the worse setorial in the game in terms of clunkyness)

 

Oh man I Loved the Aswang! I didn't notice it before :( I loved having him chomp on a guy and gaining wounds!

 

I'm flipping over these guys. Really, I'm typing this while shaking on my seat.

This update is so damn cool.

I really hope Gwailos are turned into AVA1 HI, but it might be a typo. However, I do love the new Line Infantry, these guys will be useful even in vanilla CA, and that ambush camo LT is all kinds of nasty. I'm hoping for a fully camoed army list to finally be possible with the new shasvastii.

 

Victor gives Shasvastii a decently cost HD+ option. I wonder if hes Shasvastii exclusive or if the combine army just got a much cheaper HD+ option.

 

It was always possible, but might get more playable now.

 

Damn, the design is off the charts...I know which is gonna my third army..

 

I notice AVA 2 with the Q drone and we got some good hacker options. Enjoy buffing Q-Drones for a fast attack unit. Also, M and T drones have special fireteams so we got some REM options to put in links.

And yes, the new design for the Shasvasti looks amazing.

 

A CA sectorial finally doesn’t have to pay 22+ points for a normal hacker. 17 pt. Smg zapper is amazing. It’s a new era, indeed

 

I'm hoping the Gwailo is at least a wildcard to go with the Nox. Looks like a lot of troops will be a wild card o go with them.

Just the name of the Cuthroats sounds great lol.

I've always wanted Pretas with the shasvastii so i'm really looking forward to the Taigha
