i'm going to play a tournament in a few days, but for worse i didnt had the chance to try out the three missions with the actual xenotech its set.

    The missions are:
    Supremacy
    Engineering deck
    Acquisition.

Do you have any tips for those mission ( i ll play aleph vanilla) ?

Eg, you find easier for us or more of an hindrance the xenotech, better do this instead of that...

I'd like tips more in the missions per se THAT on the list.

    Thanks guys

I'm short on time: I heavily recommend running Achilleus. All three missions pose not problem for a usual / normal army with Big A and the usual supporting cast with back-up gunfighter, posthumans, hackers and docs...

Supremacy: Baggage bots are priority targets, a Hidden Deployment troop can be critical (mk2) to steal a quadrant

Engineering Deck: unless it has changed, don't be shy about the Netrods since they don't need to roll, and there won't be surprise DA.
Also, bring a hacker with Lockpick, or something with D-Charges to not open all four doors at once.

Can't remember Acquisition. But yeah, Achilles (with a CoC) is a "always fit" troop, while the Asura wants smokers (who also give melee protection).

Run for the points first, and kill enemies while at it. Engineering & Acquisition are "control the thingie", while Supremacy is "place more points at the quadrant", so you can go with a killy list and a more specialist-filled one for your two choices.

What about the xenotech? So achille can be good.... Mmh
What about asura lt lv2 + nco + achille?

I had the achille v2, but is better v1 or v2?

So supremacy I'll be better with a Killy army, while a more specialist heavy could make the day in eng. and acquisition, then?

In engineering deck you have to secure the objective room in the middle : Scylla can be very good at that. She can go to marker state and has her 2 flammer bot. She will be good at both holding the room and using her bot to push someone out of the room. Other troops with bot (ajurna, drakios) could be usefull.

Good access to mine/cybermine will be usefull if you play first to protect your objective room/quadrant/antenna/console against anyone trying a last minute push turn 3

None of the missing has exclusion zone so you should use and abuse skirmisher. Naga/dart/dasyus are all very good offensive tools and naga and dasyus are good taking and defending any objective that need to be activated

Achilles + Asura is too much point in the same basket. Take Achilles lieutenant + CoC, it's more than enough. (shukra if you want to go cheap, myrmidon off if you want a CoC you can use as a specialist). Take an engineer in at least one list if your opponent bring a faction that is likely to try to E/M/Oblivion your Achilles.

Proxy mk2 will give you a good enough secondary rambo unit. Proxy mk5 give you a very good fire and forget tool. He can clean anything in the midfield and with 6 ARM when in cover he is surprisingly resilient to small arm weapon.

I would go with something like this :
    ALEPH
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10
ACHILLES Lieutenant Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, EXP CCW. (2.5 | 75)
MYRMIDON OFFICER (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, AP CCW. (1 | 35)
PROXY Mk.2 Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 21)
PROXY Mk.4 Heavy Rocket Launcher, Submachine Gun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 20)
    PROXY Mk.5 (Forward Observer) 2 Submachine Guns, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
DART Submachine Gun, Viral Tactical Bow, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Shock CC Weapon, Knife. (0 | 34)
NAGA (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 28)
NAGA Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 30)

I highly suggest trying to get 13-15 orders with ALEPH, especially vanilla where you have access to 3 Netrods.

The benefit from running a Limited Insertion list are very minimal (especially since we have access to an amazing CoC / Counter-intelligence piece)

Orders are the most important ressource in Infinity.

Well i'm heading with a concept like this: for supremacy a no-brainer elite killer list.
Probably one group with Achilles ( maybe v2 as he lose less if it has camo disabled, and can start up the field, while v1 if lose odd is in deep shit.... ) .

For the other two I'll stretch to 12-13 orders full of specialist. Maybe with asura hacker lv2 lt for those extra order for complete missions.

I'll write again while I had the list ready :)

On last note, maybe I am not seeing the whole pictures but...
Nagas/ dasyu are basically the same troop in economy version or there are righteous differences I am not seeing?

I also have naga sniper and agema sniper, play both as fire support to achille is a bit redundant?
    Or may be of use?

    Thanks again for your support!

Achille doesn't have camo, it has ODD (-6 visual mod). [Edited off the wrong information, sorry!] With PH15, he's got good chances of dodging templates, so it's not that bad of a risk and the upside it really good.

Nagas are CH: Camo with Dogged
Dasyus are CH: TO with NWI

Dasyus are pretty much improved Nagas, yeah. But other than just better modifiers, the Dasyus have access to Hidden Deployment, which is pretty good. They also have some differences in profiles, the Naga can have a minelayer profile for example.

I'm not sold on the Naga sniper, it's pretty expensive for what it does and you have better options for that role in my opinion.

When ODD is burnt off by Fire, it stops wworking completely. Only CH skills drop to Mimetism.

Naga Sniper is far too expensive for what she brings.

Nope, ODD doesn't downgrade, gets removed. If you expect close combat, I suggest the V2 for that reason (and that an MSV2 ignores the ODD, and tend to be more common on the table than MSV1 because of smoke, so the +2ARM of the V2 is better), since mimetism doesnt get Burnt.

    From Burnt: http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Burnt
See the second point, ODD gets disabled.

The naga has Monofilament mines, and can be Minelayers.
The Dasyu improves on the naga: Dogged -> NWI, Camo -> TO Camo (plus Hidden Deployment), +1 FIS, Can be Lt, have Nanopulser

Also, some of the more interesting profiles of the Dasyu are available for the Mk2 proxy: Sniper and Assault Hacker (the AHD profile would be overpowered in such a cheap model, though)

Yes that is what I meant for Achilles , they are basically the same as damage output, but defensively I prefer the +2 armour and fix -3 to be hit as I tried the v1 but he... Attract fire in many ways ;)

For naga/dasyu I have understood the rules difference , only it appear that they cover the same niche in the same army.
