After looking at the second teaser, I just realized the art piece is a silhouette of a trooper. The two white stripes near the top of the Maghariba guard seem to be eyes. The shape of the eyes make me think of heavy infantry. The helmet kinda looks like a Janissary helmet, but I'm hoping it's a new kind of troop.
Actually, only Akbar Doctor. I too wanted to see Hakims being Akbars to support RTF 2-wound models, but it did not actually happen, if that's what you mean.
Sectorials usually have a few profiles that are exclusive to the Sectorial itself. I think adding another Akbar Doc would be great, I wouldn’t mind a KHD Taureg either.
I wouldn’t say no to both as rtf exclusives. It’ll never happen, (and probably should never happen), but I’d LOVE a Taureg fireteam. Can you imagine?
Oh, that would be a can of worms to open! Which is why there are no Fireteam-capable Camo or TO Camo models in all Infinity.
I think sectorial specific profiles are the exception, rather than the norm. I can't think of that many.
Are there any Fireteam-capable Aerial Deployed troops in the game? As far as I can recall, no. Same with Marker-state-capable troops. Which, IMO, makes Linkable Hakim a thing so unlikely it is not worth the effort of being preapred for...
The only linkable marker I can think of is Bruant who only has limited camo (and can't use it if he deploys linked anyway).
But isnt the AD kinda what makes the Hakims. Otherwise its an arm 2 doc+ with smg, not very impressive. But if it gained akbar and wildcard that might be cool.
I don't think there are any Infiltrating fireteams in infinity, let alone AD. Even the rules for Coordinated orders don't work well with AD troops. I think there is a design rule against AD troops and fireteams. At most I would expect they may make a AVA1 wildcard AD troop for impromptu fireteam reinforcements.
yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of how Specter and Yasbir work. I'd much rather have an AD Akbar though. It would be sweet!
