If my local JSA players are any indication, that Hatail will see a lot of use in various roles as a proxy. Love the pose personally, not sure yet what I'll use her for since I don't use spitfires a huge amount.
Well, on the other hand, I kinda understand why pack a Tohaa spec-ops model with book containing Tohaa and spec-ops rule updates.
Kaizoku exists as a separate blister now. Maverick was essentially just a headswapped Grunt. I'd be shocked if we didn't see a CAD sculpted Hatail in the future, along with a refresh of most Spec-Ops minis to match the standard of the Grunt Intel and Kaizoku.
But the Spec-Ops model doesn't come with the book; preordering the book grants you the new Saito Togan (or the Hacker Brawler, I don't remember which one). So... third Spec-Ops model? Is this the new Musashi?
That Spec Ops model is sweet. I am really looking forward to all these new minis and units. I wonder if this Sectorial will have access to Yuan Yuan as well. I remember Carlos mentioning the next alien faction would have access to Yuan Yuan in the Adepticon seminar 2 years ago, but things might have changed.
See Robert's comment below. Its a useful proxy model that can fill an assortment of roles to help people getting started with the army. Really good choice in my books. I dont think you can rule a limited ed model and then the standard version fo that sculpt as 2 different models. We'd basically have a pre-cad spec ops and post-cad sculpt of one. Thats not too crazy.
Considering its size and skin colour it's a new Kaauri. But the Kaauri Sentinels were bioconstructs after all, and maybe this new model has a different name.
It's a Rorschach test. When you look at the figure down in front, do you want to believe in more Shasvastii or more Tohaa?
*sees large model holding only swords* "Yep, that guy is gonna have a big gun and gun-specific skills..." CB, look at what you've done.
