*groan* again? I can't view the nomads and special edition miniatures I posted but I can view the yu jing pictures I posted. Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that I post from my smartphone?
Time for another update. Slowly putting together a Ikari Company force, the HMG Zuyong is a stand in for a HMG Wu Ming and the Boarding Shotgun bounty hunter is representing a Boarding Shotgun Wu Ming.
Thanks @taylor the mat and buildings are from Antenocitis Workshop. I've also got a few Plastcraft and the card buildings from Operation Icestorm as well. All of them together can make a nice 6x4 and 4x4 table.
I don't have an in progress miniature to show off but I do have a couple reference pictures to help give people an idea of what I'm planning on doing. My plan is to paint up scarface like my Titanfall 2 titan for my Ikari Company force.
Gadzooks an update! Planning on hosting an infinity demo day at my local club so I decided to spruce up some of my miniatures so the first to be stripped and repainted was my Zuyong Invincible from the Yu Jing starter set
Did you decide not to go ahead with the Ikari force or is it still on the backburner? I think the scheme you picked out for them is a really nice change from the norm.
It was placed on the back burner along with a lot of hobby related things because my family recently got a new puppy so I've had my hands full helping to look after a rather fluffy spaniel.
Well, if the pup had some foundation training before heading to his forever home, he'll be quite the enjoyable addition. My new Jack Russell puppy -- the full-sized type ( well, he's 14 weeks now, so not so new.) had all that sort of training, the puppy enrichment etc from his breeder. Amazing little guy. Massive time sponge. So much has changed about raising/training puppies since I last had one back in 2003. ( Also a Jack Russell. Once you go Jack, you never go back, but you may go crazy. ) I do hope all works well with the new dog, Deathwig. What sort of Spaniel is he? Of course the table and the minis look nice too.
Thankfully the new puppy is six months old so he isn't too much trouble now. That's what given me the free time to break out the paints, dust off the brushes and get my hobby on again. ;) @Red Harvest He's a black and tan English Cocker Spaniel show type. This is what he looks like and yes he is rather fluffy.
A wild update appears! It certainly has been a while since I have posted anything here on the forums. I've gathered the motivation to paint some Infinity again last night and here was a result, Hsien Warrior with HMG.
