Just got a windfall from the bank! Strategic gift to wife means that I got away with new paint set lol! Bye bye my poor old citadel paints (the best for so long and now sad, overpriced, fast dried out garbage). Hello Vallejo Game Colour range. So happy, only... what to paint next...

Congrats bro I really like the game color line. I just bought the complete sets of both scale 75 and scale 75 fantasy and games paint set this week. I always get really excited when I get a new paint set but at this point I have way way to many paints right now but I always find an excuse to buy more lol

Only thing to worry about is that VGC are very thin, don't cover well over black.

VGC have a very bad reputation in the showcase painting community, maybe you can make them work? I have heard from a lot of people that they are no go and on some painting workshops I visited in the past they were actually forbidden to bring. For this reason I painted VMC and then i switched over to scalecolor, they are by far the best paints I have ever tried. Really hoping they work out for you...but if in doubt, go scalecolor

You guys are filling me with buyers regret lol!

Way I see it is that if they are good enough for Angel Giraldez, they are good enough for me.

I’m used to using thin colours and multiple layering since 1st gen citadel paint so shouldn’t be an issue for me. Plus I just need a broad colour pallet to replace my dead range of GW paints to add to a base of 30 odd VMC paints I already have. So far very satisfied with Vallejo paints :-)

Not intending to scare you off, just let you know that priming black doesn't work well. Priming gray (or white and washing black to start the shadows) works fine.

Don’t worry I’m ok lol :-). Thanks for advice. I have plenty of experience with primers and combining layers on top of opaque base colors, so I should be able to manage ;-)

INFINITY JSA: Tachikoma (Proxy Yaopu Pangguling)
This little guy is so cute! A little too small for 28mm scale but perfect for a proxy infinity S4 baggage bot REM. This guy will stand in for my JSA Yaopu Pangguling as I'm not a huge fan of the studio model, but a massive GITS SAC fan. Batou been feeding him natural oil...

    Tachikoma:
So, will we be sent back to lab too?

    Batou:
Wha...? Who's been telling you that?

    Tachikoma:
Well, it's just that the way the Major's been looking at us lately is kinda scary.

    Batou:
Oh, is that all? The major's always scary, remember? I think you guys are doing a fine job.

    Tachikoma:
    You really think so?

    Batou:
What, you're still worried about that?

    Tachikoma:
Yeah... It just seems like the Major is angry about what we've acquired recently.

    Batou:
    "Acquired"? Acquired what?

    Tachikoma:
    Well, it's ... Individuality.

    Batou:
    Individuality?

Still one of the best minis CB sculpted and a very nice interpretation of yours. Love how well the orange, blue and white get together

Made Precisely the same head swap. And was also planning to paint my JSA in a very similar scheme... Pretty inspiring! Superb job.

    Ikari Company - Yuan Yaun

This guy is very cool but very hard to come by. Pity it's so hard to get the coolest infinity minis these days, but I managed to find a Red Veil box set that still had it. The Uprising artwok with this guy in it inspired me to start Ikari Co and my colour scheme is based on that.
