I will be suprised if Zheyaden and Naffatun dont get wildcard. It fits their profiles to a T (although Naffatun could be arguable considering their lore...).

    One doesn't exclude the other.

Wildcard BR Zhayedans joining a Ghilim link after the ARO pieces are dead sounds pretty dirty and cost-effective (points and SWCwise) to me

Even Zhayedan Sniper is okay in cheap link. Frankly, that's the only way I see them redeemable right now.

Swc box doesn't guarantee link teams but increases chances of them I guess. Minis look great but poses are a bit bland.

    Edit: also apparently Corregidor, NCA and QK getting updates. I guess that means that also means they're boarding the vacation bus? NCA is my main and I just started QK ;_;
Oh well. I have only like 1 QK game Won't be too sad.

I love the sniper, but the other poses are a bit dull. Still, I think this bodes well for an Adepticon launch of RTF.

As for QK, they'll still be playable. Possibly even more playable than they are now with their farewell update. Just make sure you have the models you want, that's the issue.

Thermodynamics are still a thing, so i could see them wearing layers in extreme hot days and extreme cold nights. Plus protection from elements.

Not all of Bourak is a desert.

Not generally thrilled with the look. We'll see how it goes with the professional images.

Because turbans and trenchcoats look dead sexy, my man. They create a fabulous, somewhat unique aesthetic for our task force.

Also, notice how the two male Zhayedans have different poses (I guess thanks to different legs, a trick we haven't seen too often since the Ghazi Muttawi'ah).

Isn't is something we were asking for since quite a while?

They could have the same legs and changed torso, it depends - the render is made in a smart way so they look really different.
About the models - my first impression is that I like them. They seems to be nice, which isn't very hard with such good concept ;) Hopefully they will shine in RTF and get some nice options - I'm not even thinking about changing the profiles, but maybe some mixed links... Zhayedan Sniper with wildcard would be cool.

I do like that first from the right miniature. Sniper is okayish, other two feels like i have seen before, many times. I dig trenchcoats as well.

    An obligatory negative post:

Oh, look. They all look cool and even got different poses!
    ...
Too bad 3/4 of those models would rarely see any competitive or non-masochistic play! Almost like Khawarijis!

Anyone want to have a little fun speculating what we might get in the way of new units? Pretty much every new sectorial since Tunguska has gotten at least two and a character it seems.

Based on what is in Ramah already it looks like there are a few holes they need to fill. No medium infantry, all the models so far seem to fall into 3 point ranges; 12-20, 27-35, 45+. No regular camo, no warbands. I think the empty points ranges are where we could expect new units to end up, and with most of the existing units costing 30+ we could end up seeing a medium infantry and something else somewhere in the 18-27 point range. If they fill out Naffatuns profiles with more options the low end would be covered between them and ghilim, the mid-high is super full already, and the high end is a bit sparse but what is there is really nice.

Looking through army a lot of the profiles feel kind of placeholdery, so maybe we will see a big revamp of profiles across the board?

Then again, Haqq were never much into Medium Infantry types. Two with HB, three with QK, if memory serves me. Two characters classified as MI on top of that in Vanilla.

The sniper is the only one I'm not super impressed by. Obligatory mention of tactical garbage. It looks a lot like the new Knauf render, pose-wise.

I'm pretty stoked for these though!

If we want to speculate, we can see that almost all new factions got new unique skirmishers/units like skirmishers. Zulu cobra, heckler, strelock, zencha, Dart. So i can see us getting a pseudo skirmisher LI unit which we dont really have yet. Also almost every army got a brand new unique rule/equipment on a unit. Ghost jumper level Z, Ghost marionette, wild parrot, trench hammer, cybermines, tac awareness, explode lvl x. We may yet see some new unique stuff. We did get medjectors, and fat 2 already though.
