Conversion thread! what've you got going on?

Very good, I don't recognise the head, from where it's from ?

 

My guess would be Statuesque Miniatures.

 

I'm pretty sure it's from this Alguacile miniature.

 

@ThananRollice You're right. I was surprised when the creator of the conversion told me himself but it is an Alguacile head.

 

Where's the body from?

 

BSG ORC, I think the arms are from the Icestorm one.

Yep everyone is correct. Parts used were BSG ORC body, Icestorm arms, Cube Jaeger SMG and Alguacile head, initially I was trying the Cosplay bolt head but it didn't sit well with the pose

Did someone ask for a Desperado sculpt with twin Assault Pistols? Turns out Bootleg Penthesilea and Uxia McNeil make a good combo...



Finally, my Varuna list needs another Crocman with a Combi-Rifle, so I took the Sniper sculpt, cut down the long-arm and swapped his head out for the Hardcase's in a sort of 'Crocoman Dundee': "I see you've played Knifey-Spooney before..."

 

Think you can bend up the a side of the brim to look like an outback hat?

 

Outback hat? Ahh, like an Akubra, or do you mean a Slouch Hat? Yeah, good idea!

 

If the cutter's coming out of the surf with the techbee on it, a lifesaver's cloth cap (quartered yellow/red - like the legion of volunteer lifeguards that watch our beaches) on her head would be all she needed - since she's already wearing bikini bottoms and a rashie. They often use boats (and a cutter is just a boat).

 

The call I got on FB was 'Baywatch of GTFO', so it's certainly a consideration.

I apologize for the poor quality of the pics, but I'm excited to have finished off my Patsy Garnett conversion.

 

Guys I am stuck with multiple Kaizoku SpecOps from JSA preorder, and since we don't play with SpecOps here can someone suggest some conversions for them ( I tried to sell them and no one wants them :-D ) ? I play JSA and Ikari ( in addition to pretty much every other faction, except YJ ) so if someone coverted Kaizoku to something useful can you share some pics ?

 

I would need to have a Kaizoku in my hands to try something out. I'm guessing you already have all the Keisotsu Butai you need?

 

I have like 5 combi Keisotsu, don't think I will ever need more than that :-) First I thought about doing a Shikami, but have that one as well and I would never field 2 Shikami. I also have full AVA of Ryuken. I will probably use one Kaizoku as Tokusetsu Engineer, but then I still have 2 Kaizoku to convert to something :-D If I could find some katanas I could make Saito Togan probably ( even tho I don't see myself ever using him lol ). Anyone know where I can buy some katanas ?

 

Kromlech has some Katanas which you can buy form multiple sources besides their own site. You get 6 with each purchase.
