I think White Banner seems unlikely - I don't think they're going to have two new sectorials for the same parent faction being released at once. Having said that, however, HaqqIslam, Combined Army, and Tohaa are the only factions that didn't get new sectorials last year. So Ramah, SEF, Triumvirate, and then a couple of mercs, since the video did mention those?
"Hey did you like your Hafza LT shell games? Your great Djanbazan MSV? Cheap Bashi Bazouk AD? Well tough luck, go f yourself and buy moar new stuff!!!1" Spoiler The worst part is, after the Uprising I can absolutely see them doing it.
Difference being; uprising meant you could still use all your models, albeit in a new faction. I’d be incredibly surprised and (probably unreasonably) upset if vanilla haqq loses Djanbazan. They make it into most competitive lists I’ve ran or seen others run. It just wouldn’t make sense.
I apologize. When I said I’d likely be upset, I didn’t mean salty af. Y’all want some frenchcries with your wamburgers?
The profiles will still be present in Army, so where is the problem besides having to use proxies, if you are a new player?
I would be very surprised if they split QK off of Haqq. I would be a lot less surprised if they added a merc sectorial that includes KTS.
Just like the Oniwabans, Aragotos, Raidens etc. are still present in vanilla Yu Jing? :P I was talking about the possibility of those units possibly being removed from vanilla Haqq, not about playing them in a self-contained (NA2?) sectorial. I mean, if the QK gets the Acontecimento/MRRF treatment it's not gonna be anything to worry about, but OTOH I play Yu Jing :|
Based purely on fluff, the next most likely to revolt is probably Morats. Much like tension between JSA and Yu Jing has always been in the background, there's also always been mention of the Morats only working for the EI because they know it's suicide not to, but that they are ready to go independent if that ever changes. That being said, there would have to be some pretty amazing plot twists to end up at a point where, on a galactic scale, the EI's position is weakened so much that the Morats decide to start a fight.
My guess : Ramah Tohaa (it's supposed to be tohaa year, new sectorial with a mass of high AVA enlighten species but no/very little triads) Shas reworked A shas based NA2 (mix of undercover shasvasti like Aida Swanson, speculo agent and speculo killer plus scum who work for them) Tohaa based NA2 (triumvirate : some merc + some underciver troop, no enlighten species)
Ramah and Shas are obvious bets. Tohaa might indeed see a sectorial - either factional or NA2 My next bet would EI. I'd expect one book this year to focus more on the alien conflicts, Tohaa front, and Tohaa/Shas/EI would fit it well. As for the fifth one it'll probably be KTS.
