I've been trying to coax a friend back into Infinity this year, and I got him to commit to playing in this year's SLC Showdown in June. The catch is that I have to paint his army. Is really appreciate some list ideas for.him to choose from that can tackle the Missions at SLC Showdown. Missions are Biotechvore Capture and Protect Firefight Frostbyte Highly Classified. I'm sure there isn't one list that can tackle all of these perfectly, but I'd really appreciate any ideas you might have that I can pass along. Bonus points for Limited Insertion just for my paint queues sanity. , lol. Thanks
Frostbyte + BTV are Grrls core missions. My go to for BTV is Grrls core + Avi + TM Lt. TM and Avi can happily chill in your DZ T1: BTS 6 and 2Ws means you can wait on pushing them out. With Avi there’s a hilarious play if you pick up the “Dr a trooper” classified, where Avi takes the BTV damage and then heals it. With the change in how Camo works in BTV you can happily add a couple of Zeroes and an Uberfalls to flesh out the list, which should do well as LI for both those missions. It’s also not an awful Firefight list. Although in Firefight I’d be happier with a few Morlocks to screen the Grrls/Avi from things like Raoul. Which leaves you with a C&P / HC list. Z&P + REMs + Sk + with maybe Avi and a Meteor is my preferred build for HC. You can probably make something along those lines work for C&P as well.

But so far the Grrls are capable of winning Highly Classified (which happened to me every time attending such a tournament).

I'd make a slight alteration to this, specifically to switch the Reaktion Zond in Group 2 with a Moderator in Group 1. The reason for this is that if everything goes to hell and your Grrls get minced, the ability to make a three man core team can give you a slightly better chance of removing threats in your last turn. The difference between three and four dice out might not seem like much but in a particularly close game could make all the difference. This also leaves the Daktari in the second group for pocket heals on the main link in Group 1 as well. Personal taste as well, but the last Combi equipped Riot Grrl could be downgraded to the 27 point Boarding Shotgun profile: this would free up two points to turn one of the Morlocks into the 8 point Assault Pistol profile, which is a significant offensive upgrade over the stock-standard 6 point ones that are already in the list.
Interesting idea. But in order to link the Mods you have to put them quite close together and that would make the whole shell game who might be the Lt. a bit less order wasting. And since the Reaktion Zond is a high priority target for the opponent as well as as second attack piece you'll drain the same pool the Riot Grrls will use. Further if the Remote falls unconcious during the reactive turn you'll "lose" further orders used to repair it whilst the 2nd CG has no real use of it's orders despite letting the Morlock rampage. If really everything goes to hell then it might be better to use one more command token. Yep, the Assault Pistol Morlock is an awesome thing I always wanted in that list. But as you said it's a matter of personal taste (and personal experience). For me it was almost always better to have the second Blitzen than the Assault Pistol - several LOL situations for CA players were just too funny and in general the Blitzen is way more capable of stopping any TAG, Achilles or HI than the Assault Pistol Morlock.
