I've got a pretty strange behaviour, if I stick with my default browser with only authorised cookies, I miss a lot of pics as the hositng cookies are not allowed. So I'm used to switch to my secondary browser with all cookies enabled and most of time it works (and it works here too). Where it get strange here, is: as soon as I log in the forum on my secondary browser I loose the pics. Then I log out in the default browser, refresh the page... and the pics are back. So it seems to be a forum issue.
So if im log out i can c pictures but clicking on them rends some random error , but when loged in i just c som giberrish text and picture extension ... o and nice Borat .. from what i can c on small picture :)
I am kinda demotivated to post here anymore because of the bug with the images...hopefully CB will fix it soon. anyway here is the next miniature (if you cannot see the images you need to log out...)
u you made an average / boring mini look good - congrats and i think CB fixed this strange picture issue :)
I'm still having issues with images sometimes, and it is really pissing me off. But that is a gorgeous paintjob!
Please, keep uploading your work. Usually the best part of the morning is when you see an actualization at Nathelis post.
So many great comments, I feel honored. thanks guys! I painted miranda ashcroft because I wanted to paint something different than armor for once...so leather jaket it is.
RoFL so you painted a model i w as up for doing recently (i whant a ODD mini :P) ye leather looks nice and gun looks interesting . Who em i kidding i like butt ;) and Blade - they both start from "B"
Great work as always. You made Ashcroft look so cool, esp the sword blade and leather. Great photos of your work also. Do you use light box or fancy camera or any other tricks? I’m still trying to get better at photography using my phone camera and still not satisfied.
thanks mate. about miniature photos there are lots of myths floating around. a lightbox is totally unnecessary, just use the lamp you have already on your painting desk but the light needs to come from the camera angle otherwise you produce shadows. Yes I use canon DSLR (old eos 450D) but a very expensive objective I had lying around from my old photography hobby days...it has superb resolution, so good that i use it as assistance while painting sometimes to check if details are ok because the camera sees much better than my own eyes with magnifying glasses. I also always use a dark matte photo backdrop...never any scenery or other stuff in the backround that distracts from the mini. The ones from hangar 18 miniatures are well worth the investment.
