While I voted HB, RTF and IA (yes, I've ordered a starter... just kill me), it's very optimistic tbh. I'm not sure I will be playing at all. RL circumstances aside, releases and overall mood in the community affect my own drive to play more than what I would call healthy.
Hm, that's unfortunate. I'm lucky in that my local Infinity Meta seems pretty chill, and I'll be relearning the game because of not playing playing seriously since Flamestrike.
I will mainly focus on Invincible Army and OSS, but I also will paint up my TJC und I plan to use, what I already have: SP, CJC, ISS, YJ, Starco If I am lucky and productive I will also use NCA & JSA. I will not go deep into Varuna, as I have too much unpainted Pan Os and I left out QK, Onyx and MAF as I have the bad feel, that I not manage to paint them up in 2019 - but who knows. Seems too much? Yes it is!
I am almost done painting my OCF. Only 11 left that have to be painted till April (I got challenged). After that I am planning to start TAK for our upcoming campaign. From high tech to low tech
I guess I'll stick to my current main armies the 3 nomad sectorials neo-tera military orders steal phalanx JSA ISS USArf starco and OS sss if I catch up on my aleph mini panting I hate playing with or against unpainted armies
OM, Vanilla and NCA until the French Satellite as I need to find the lists I will play. Then, why not coming back to ASA. The sectorial is pretty nice now.
Once I'm done with MO (just to check my expectations) I will probably focus on OSS and VIRD. Though I have some what strange urge to check Ramah once it is released.
I intend on focusing hard on Bakunin for the early year (despite getting my second Raicho, who's going to get festooned with skulls :D), but if the Year of the Alien turns out to be true I might finally go back to Vanilla Combined. MAF is going to stay on the shelf for a while, and I'm only breaking out Ariadna and/or Vanilla Nomads if I ever feel like having no friends in Infinity anymore.
I'm gonna try to bring out QK some more due to the panicked speculation surrounding them. Our local QK player is already convinced they're getting the axe... Now that I think of it, QK is effectively a space faction, and one guarding a crucial resource at that. It would make sense for the aliens to try to crush that. CJC will always see some play thanks to the McMurrough/Massacre haris combo, and vanilla Nomads will continue being my tournament pick. It seems like Nomads are overrepresented in the comments, is this thread on Arachne?
