I'm firmly against any Teuton hacker: they're supposed to be fanatical assault troops, not battlefield nerds. The other two profiles are (would have been) fantastic.
I agree with @Sepheriel but not about the price. We are talking about a Dogged HI. This plus the rest of the added up skills and the EXP CCW should top the Teuton at at least 40 points for the BS one. As you wish but it is a lot to pay in comparison to Hospitaller.
honestly with the drop in armor and the switch to SMG, that price seems about correct. the BSG cost might be slightly off, but MA1 is only about 1 point it seems , i dont know the cost of dogged.
Was thinking of arm 4 hospitaller cost vs teuton. 31 point boarding shotgun vs 38 point one. 7 points for dogged and berserk? Doesn't sound like its that far off. Specially since the teuton loses the cube

How is it anti fluff for the guys that have literally ripped out their cubes in order to fight the alien to strap a more elegant version of a chest mine on, to get one last deus vult off when they die ? Also it nowhere approaches hyper optimized.
And you're entitled to your opinion, just as I am to mine. But I think you should consider that they're all following the Neo-Vatican - which is Catholic - which holds suicide as a Mortal sin - so equipping a Suicide device is pretty counter-fluff.
Who said anything about suicide ? Literally set it to go off upon death. Also tearing off your cube, and preventing resurrection is effectively suicide. So clearly the neo vatican has different guidelines than the current one. Yeah we are entitled to different opinions. You just arent allowed to come in here and set yours as law. It might come down to phrasing, but "i dont think that meshes well with their background" is a hell of a lot different from "that's ANTIfluffy"
Yep. Chest mines in infinity definately aren't suicide devices (which is why they can be detonated without harming the wearer). They just have dead man switches.
Maybe you should take a minute and calm down. I don't feel there is a need to preface posts with a legal banner declaring that things I say are my opinion. I get that you're clearly super invested in this discussion, but you're overreacting. Regarding your claim that removing a cube is tantamount to suicide - I feel that's an assertion on your part (unless you have a fluff quote to back it up...). There are more reasons for having a cube than for Resurrection into a new Lhost. Looking about online I can't see anything confirming or denying that the Knights (of any order) re-sleeve themselves. I personally (again, my own personal opinion) get the feeling they wouldn't be opting into the process as it reeks of Humanity playing God. Happy to be proven wrong - but would prefer if you do so in a polite manner, rather than hurling accusations at me.

I merely pointed out that you made a statement of something as it was fact, then defended something with we can have different opinions. The fluff behind the neo vatican is about restructuring faith to become compatible with the technologies like resurrection. Remember it is in fact the neo vatican that gives out resurrections. One of their primary functions in fact, it would be strange if knights werent resleeving , when military service is meant as a fast tract towards earning resurrection. The cube is not only a means of resurrection, but also provides a host of services some of which include making the patient easier to heal. To tear out such a device in an active combat zone were death is near guarantee is tantamount to suicide.
I'll have to go back a re-read the fluff in the core books - nothing I can find online really touches on this. Interesting, though, if PanO aren't following the same blackout-style protocols that the Aleph are (refusing to touch the Cubes of those who've been in contact with the EI for fear of tech contamination - ala Odyseus). I had assumed they would - given Aleph's guidance - which would make removal of the Cube only a positive for them as a frontline troop; by denying Sepsitorisation. Regarding optimisation - The profiles were equipped with discount ranged weapons (SMG and BS), adding Chest Mines to a profile with Berserk (+9 in cc iirc), adding MA1 for Stealth, and adding Dogged to ensure additional asymmetric trading in cc. It reads like cherry picking a bunch of the cheapest options that provide the greatest net benefit. It is just missing Mimetism for it's laughable +1 pt cost increase.
If I'm remembering correctly, the Teutonic Order was commissioned by the NeoPope explicitly to combat the Combined Army threat on Paradiso. Many units in technified forces in the Infinity setting who specialise in taking down CA units opt out of using a Cube to remove the risk of Sepsitorisation, which would likely be considered a much worse fate than suicide across the Sphere's religious organisations. As such, it makes some sense that Teutonic Knights don't employ cubes, and why only the most zealous devotees of the faith compose the ranks of the unit- unlike every other order, Teutons can't use their resurrection credit from military service on themselves unless they survive their entire career.
