Painted these 3 recently. Took some critique from /tg/ and added some better accents/color to the minis and the bases to help break up the monotone scheme Also gave Shakti a ponytail :)
@robot_jones Color scheme looks amazing and fits perfectly for an Aleph force. I can't seem to see the name for the pink color behind the Dakini. Are you able to expound what it's name? Looks like a nice shade to add to my paint collection.
Wow so much awesomeness here ! Your schemes fit amazingly well their armies. There a decent amount of chance i steal your ALEPH scheme... Like 99.5%, or so...
That could be it. Hopefully Jones can clear up what is the exact color when he replies. Agreed. It is very tempting to try painting a force in these colors.
Yep! The SKU code has worn off, but it's the only "Magenta" in the Model Color range. haha thanks! Go for it
Magenta Fluo 70.735 with a really worn off label. *wink* It was a game of matching the blurry shapes to the possibilities.
Ah yeah, I've tried the Magenta Fluo for the Yadu's helmet. Liked the color, but not the transparency. So I stuck with 70.945 for everything after that Yadu
I feel that you don't get the full effect unless you apply them over pure white, undercoat the area with it then apply the fluo paint over it, has worked well for me
Depends on what you want to do. If you want to use fluo as normal paint, use a similar color, if you want it more for the fluo effect, use white. Just today I painted something orange (non fluo), I could had painted the zone white first, but I went with a yellowish brown, as I wanted a natural orange, not a plastic orange.
Finished the Shukra Consultant And this idiot Also painted up the BSG CSU and re-based the other CSU on the right Oh and I somewhat recently started an Instagram :)
Also I'm looking for recommendations for bases for Yu Jing and PanO. Doesn't have to be themed, but just not MDF bases (resin and acrylic is fine) The shotgun is a totally separate piece and pretty perfect for conversion. It simply pegs. I had kept it off and green stuffed over the hole, but at the last minute I decided it looked better with it. Then glued it back on ... I think it's in the wrong direction too
