Hello @-V- Really like the "in depth" series on your blog, but some of the "older" charaters like TaoWu are missing... will they have an owen atrikel or not? For a beginner like me, this series is really helpfull :-)
Well, I finally got another game in. I seem to average one a week. This time I threw in ToaWu to see how he would do. My opponent did discard a lot of cards, but I still lost and I feel the lack of a model actually doing things i.e. scoring or killing was more important than the loss of cards.
My main problem with TaoWu is it's movement. I like what he do, but usually it's not enough. If he had MOV 4 at least I could keep him more relevant in scenario.
There are several TTS games posted on Youtube from Ecos del Hexadome(in Spanish) that show players trying to maximize TaoWu's mobility by using his switch within the Action "Hallucinations" that may see him jump 4 Spaces for 1. If you or you opponent are running Kozmo there is often a lot of Smoke laying around and TaoWu becomes mobile. He also synergies with Valkyrie and/or Hexxer who can .
If you couldn't take advantage from your opponent throwing Tactics, then Táowù is not your... chinese sorcerer.
