Quick question: Did CB really stopped the production of the recently released starter of the jungle guys or am i to dumb to find it in the store? and if they did, why? thanks guys!
SAA models were mostly discontinued, including the starter, Bagh-maris, Singh, Rao, and Guarda De Assaulto :'( It was recent though, so some independent stores might still have inventory.
Every so often I see someone having their first "in stock but not actually" experience with Waylaid Games, it's like watching a baby horse standing and walking for the first time!
@MoScotch Good news is that you can find similar models to use for Acon forces. Fusiliers easily equal regulars just with some different weapon options. Akalis have some sculpts left (Spitfire & the Combi model from the Vanilla starter) plus I used some for Bagh Mari and they work fine. Just replace the jump-packs with backpacks. Neoterra Bolts can also be used as Bagh-Mari. Guarda de Assulto can be a couple of options but an older Swiss Guard or Aquila Guard sculpt would fit best in my opinion. Lastly the Dragoe T.A.G. will need a proxy if you want to run it. Everything else besides those units are still in production and can be bought nearly anywhere. So you only need to replace 5 units max and that is if you wanted to play/use them all. I say the main two you should get are the Regulars (Fusiliers) and Bagh Mari (Akali &/or Neoterra Bolts). The Combi Akali from the Vanilla/Icestorm starters is still easy to obtain and 3 of the unit's 5 loadouts are Combi-Rifles with only the Boarding Shotgun & Spitfire weapons left. You rarely see more than 1 Guarda show up in a list unless you like the unit and want to use more of them. Dragoes have a good amount of proxies and the Nomad Szalamander or Iguana seem to be perfect choices due to the mechs' tails that they come with & their lizard theme.
