Epic games store looks pretty dodgy, their returns policy is mad and a lot of people have pointed out they aren't compliant with stuff like GPDR. No reviews on the site so buyer beware. Keep in mind they are 40% or something owned by Tencent in China so all your data is probably being mined. I am a bit suspicious of them. I already have Steam, Origin and GOG Galaxy, not keen on yet another launcher. I don't play Bethesda or Ubisoft games so I've avoided their launchers until now. Obsidian are owned by MS now but apparently Outer Worlds was under their previous publisher - slips my mind now
The only company I'd be happy to pre-order from are Supergiant, all of their games are excellent, but I dislike pre-ordering, and I do not want another distribution application
2K, or rather 2K masquerading as a "mid-budget" publisher using another name. Not a fact that instills confidence considering how enthusiastic 2K are about "post sale monetisation".
If you played Unreal 3 or new unreal or Forknight you got epic account any way .. - Yes no reviews in shop - atm (it may get added ) From what i menage to dig up Hades is an actual flag game of this new luncher and any info about relice on other platforms is non existant - next big up date of Hades is 36 days (in mean time small up dates and fixes will apear ) Currently exclusive Ashen will be reliced on other platforms to but is time exclusive - and no info about cross multiplay betwen different seals platforms. Game is a looker in its own stylized style (dork sols meat Absolver) - a way how to fix a non moving lips from Dork sould - don't give a face to characters at all XD . Hello neiber , Hide and seek - no clue i was not up for main game so this is not in my fov any way Frog Night - the plague .. but lesser then PuBG Sub nautica - this will be for free - no idea if forever or for limiter time window - do yoiu keep it after 2 weeks or it fades away - no idea no concret news from them Dark siders 3 - could be better but it is a third part of darksiders ther are other games like Outer Wilds - again some good looker indi game from Anapura but - Journey will be on this platform to and this is an interesting thing o and Rebel Galaxu outlaw - a Privater game looks like so basicly Epic game Shop starts strong with "premium" Indis
Indies and premium indies are a smart market to focus on. I know that indie developers are really keen to release on Switch because they can actually get exposure and visibility in the marketplace unlike the quagmire of asset flips and non-games that Steam has become. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of games start appearing on the Switch and Epic stores at about the same time.
Well there are some Games in the making which look very intresting to me. Cyberpunk is one, Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries (YASS!!! PLZ RELEASE NOW!!!), Atomic Heart got me with its unique design. I dont own a PS 4 but maybe i can borrow one from a friend for Death Stranding. And since i let my fingers of the mediocre Battlefield 1 (also known as Fullprize World War 1 Mod for Battlefront) i want to give BF V a chance because of the scenario and hopefully a good Battlefield feeling...... man i miss the "Grand Theft Kubra Dam" days
Holy crap i just checked a indi list for Switch and is amazing Shantea , Yoka lele , Crypt of necro dancer , Gungeon, Dust Elisian Tail , Bloodstained , West of loathing , Night in the Woods , Jotun , Timbleweed park , Undertale , Dead cells , Yokus , Island Express , Guacamole (last version ) Axiom Verge , Inside , The messenger , Owl boy , Overkooked 2 , Stardew walley , Steam Wold Dig 2 , Rocket Leguue , Showel Knight , Celeste , Hollow knight ...... and Baner saga 1 to 3 , Binding of isac , Furi , Hyper light Drifter , in to the breach , limbo , oxen free , and a lot of others This is Top of tops of last 2 years of indis darlings mostly (missing Strategy games likes Battletech and Rpg like Shadowrun or Divinity orginal sin and so but im afride this would not work on console - stering way to difficult and some of this game are Huge . o and i just notice Bastion For Switch and The Messenger , the flame in the flood , Darkest Dungeon , and Retro city rampage Battle Fail V is now on Sale like 50% off is so bad selling game ... and it messes with historic event twisting them to sell some strange Agenda , Cyberfunk - not yet - please wait - loading ;) Deaf Stranding - same need to w8 for kojina to stop freeking out :) , Bottle mech 5 - again to be reliced in the future Yo u can play good indis at the moment (like Senua sacryfice ... or bastion , or Pyre ... enything from Super Gigant .. or from list above :P )
I have nothing to play right now. I own a ps4 and every console before this current generation bar the dreamcast and the Saturn. I have no PC to play games on. horror games are my preferred genre Recommend me something! I'll probably play it immediately
The Switch is indeed great for Indie titles. It is basically a PS Vita done right. *glares in the approximate direction of Sony's HQ* I don't know if I'm necessarily hyped, but it looks more promising than any other RPG currently in development. Dragon Age will likely be a mess again with the way Bioware is going (come on prove me wrong, bioware!) and everything else big I don't really care about. EDIT: And apparently outer Worlds will not have microtransactions. This.

So i was up to do a top 10 indis of 2018 but turn out someone already done one that i agrea mostly :) so i will just post and ad from me Unavoved - Watjet eye games - ye another good point and click (i would add Larry - Wet Dreams never dry - but you must be born in last century to enjoy game :) ) Florence - no forking clue what is this game - i just don't play on mobile (beside tyrian 2000 and Oxen free ) The Massenger - a ninja Gaiden inspired game luckly is not like Ninja gaiden it is well playable and no bullshit like orginal Ninja WTFgaiden ;) in to the Breach - i already mentioned this game many times Minit - dunno if it one of best in this year but it is another one minute here - but definitly fun on toilet .. or in bus Iconoclast .. it is deffinitly better then it seams Celeste ...... hym ... it is expirience that is a game at same time (remember Hellblade : Senua sacryfice ?? so it is not just a game ) GRIS - o ye you will hear about this game a lot this will not slide easy and is reliced by Devolver Digital and a lot of thou's that made they Top 10 games of 2018 will need to rethink or made add on - and im not telling just about indi games Return of Obra Din - this game is a game that is played by ppl that do not like / play game at all - it is just like mistery book / interactive move detective story - it appeal to ppl on so many lvl and it appel to puzzle lovers Dead Cells - dunno if it is best in this year but is deffinitly laudest and a story of a sucesfull early access (but lacks a depth of a story from other games ) and ther is Ashen from Annapura games (the one that made Jurney ) and Beholder 2 .. and all this just before yar end .. and Battle tech by creators of Shadowrun . but battle tech is not for all :)
ha ha ha is like 80% comments unter this clip on YT :) yes no cross code and no idea why :) it is like Saiken desnetsu 3 Turbo :) mixed with Hyper light Drifter
Glad it's not just me, I've been playing since platformers were the dominant genre and they've never quite clicked for me. Not a fan of Metroidvanias either.
Totally. One of the best games I've played this year. Celeste is clearly on my TOP3 of 2018. And very close to that TOP is Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. I've recently finished it and it's a super great game. Now I'm with Guacamelee 2. I like it, yeah, but at the moment feels like a "very very very continuist sequel".
