(I am seriously happy we didn't get Whitescars for Yu Jing) Incidentally, Montessa seems to have basically the same stats as that mounted Domaru someone photoshopped and posted on /tg/ a little over a year ago - except with Boarding Shotgun instead of Spitfire.
Montesa is good its just not the same type of bike unit that the aragoto was that yu jing lost. White banner could bring a snow bike unit for yu jing though Fast Light bike s4 by having it be a very low profile bike (pilot is laying down) and give it camo or something funky for a light skirmisher/specialist role. Its got the su jiang to replace the fast attack piece spitfire aragoto, just needs fast specialist to cover that missing base.
Not bad, not bad, it's a solid base for our new sectorial army, I hope to see very soon the Hulang and the Mowang and the mighty Tai Sheng, probably we'll see another Liu Xing with swc, CB has a strong passion for AD units xD.

Generally agree with those points. Those are not really the models I would have chosen for a starter. Particularly not the Zuyong ML, I would have stuck a second Zuyong Combi in there. Haidao Combi covers the engineer, but I'm going to need a boarding shotgun for the KHD. Daoying MSR isn't bad, but that's my 2nd choice profile. I would rather have had the hacker (and another boarding shotgun). Also: Where's the Tinbot to go with that Zuyong Combi? April, IIRC. Adepticon release! OK, that would be an excellent idea. Hopefully CB had the same idea...

Sometimes I like it when a box has different equipment from my ideal because it makes me try new lists. Not much of a consolation, but I'm definitely going to try a HMG Securitate core just because, well, I've got it right?

Remember "these aren't starters" according to CB and certain individuals here. These are "just collections of models to start your army"...or some such garbage. If they really were serious about ever doing these boxes right, they'd be able to. But they don't want to. They just want to push out product at this point. Same place as the Hollow Man's: it's going to come with a blister that could easily have fixed the issues inherent with some of this silliness but will instead lead to whining about SKU bloat and the drama associated with it. In the case of Zuyong, it's going to be the named Zuyong character who comes with a Breaker Combi Rifle and Tinbot B OR a Mark-12 and no Tinbot. Gotta get those convention exclusives in too, don't ya know!
Tinbot are equipment, they don't even need to be on the table. Plus there are tinbot marker available. I'm quite happy they didn't put one in the box (don't need more tinbot than I already have). Regarding the content of the box, it's not so bad for a starter. Add a Zuyong HMG (as a TA HMG) from the blister and you've got your basic 5 man fireteam and you are left with 75 points to add 3 people to do the objectives It's not optimised but it's a good start
And yet Tinbots are a thing that's present in boxes now. You've missed the point in any regards: it's that there was literally a single Hollow Man profile(Hacker--which has a Tinbot, same as the Combi Rifle profile which has an option for one) left out thanks to this idiotic "WE CAN NEVER HAVE MORE THAN FOUR MODELS IN A SET!" garbage. This is a thing that has happened multiple times now across multiple factions.
For Sectorials with such a focus on Wildcard, mixed links and interchangeability, I'm actually glad not to have multiple Combis. I was critical about only having one Combi Kamau in the VIRD starter, but given the strong focus on Kamau Wildcard, I don't mind so much since I will never field more than one Combi Kamau in my lists. I'm not an IA expert, but I think it's probably better overall that IA only got one Combi Zuyong. From a playability and etiquette standpoint, I'd rather be confronted with "this proxy is a combi" rather than "this proxy is a missile launcher." A combi I can afford to forget, but not a missile launcher...
