Confirmation on Specialist Sergeants

I checked with CB before (re)adding the note to the wiki. So yes, it's confirmed, but hasn't been added back into Army yet.

Oh and small tidbit of information.

Apparently Nimbus works in CC, so our FK for all this time could even more benefit from going in CC (in those rare occasions) and applying -3 to dodge to enemy (there are not many opponents who have higher PH than CC but there are some it could be usefull).

 

I would settle for a cheaper NCO Teuton. Maybe with combi rifle or shotgun.

I'm also jealous of the several tactical awareness that IA has. Should we ask for some? Maybe for the HMG hospitalier?

 

It also applies to cc, so not gaining much there.

 

CC Attack does not require LoF, so no, it doesn't apply to CC.

Oh man the Montesa just got more interesting. Patsy throws Nimbus+ and the motorcycle drives into CC. If they shoot back it’s -6 for Nimbus+, -3 for Mimetism and -3 for MA1, total of -12 before weapon range bonus. If they dodge it’s -9, if they CC back it’s also -9. Montesa is swinging on 16s which is not awful when your opponent is shooting on a 4-5?

I’ll try it and see how it goes.

Edit it doesn’t apply to CC since no LoF required. So Montesa swings on a 22, target shoots back at -9 or -12, dodges at -9 or swings CC at -3.

I’ll take those odds against most things that don’t have MA. That’s a TAG killer right there.

If we had some TO or ODD CC models it would get even more bananas. Think about adding Surprise Attack in that stack of mods!

 

Yes! I think both her and the MSV2/Spitfire Srgts should be regular srgts. It makes sense that the TO Camo and Auxbot guys can't join link teams, but not the other two.

 

Urge to buy Motontesa intensifies.

I now want to see it armed with a DA sci fi warhammer for some reason (I'm not even a 40K player, no idea, I just thought of the word smite and it seemed to fit).

 

Ajax has a big hammer that could be a starting place for a conversion.
