Varuna ORCs

I'm playing Varuna. There is no hospitaliers or Swiss or anything other than orcs.

I still like the ORC for its lean profile, and usually run a HMG one in vanilla since it's cheap, and works as a second wave after the Swiss.

 

It is as cheap an HI HMG you can get in PanO, Hospitaller notwithstanding.

 

Hospitallers also has Frenzy which in Vanilla is actually a big deal

 

I like the Orc's as well, So! I guess, that makes me ill in the head as well, But I can say this about the Orc's when I need a cheap HI to get a job done it has been the Orc, Orc's gets the jobs done.

 

Hospitallers are not in the same sectorial as Kamau. Or Nisse for that matter. I guess wet Nisse can substitute for the real thing until Sval comes out...

Also, why is BF sniper not linkable? Brawler Sniper and Kamau already are and it would boos OS link defensive capabilities a bit (apparently people still prefer going full knight in those). There always seems to be a weird oversight with these updates.

 

Yeah sure, because they want PH14 Suryats for free.
Imagine the outcry for PH14 Suryats at +3 points.

Wishful thinking and reality rarely align.

Not to mention that a OS + BF MSR Link is worse at everything other than CC next to Kamau. God forbid that shitty Profile actually becomes useful.

 

This reminds me of that new Sogarat profile a lot.

Except I hear an FA2 Feuerbach actually hits like a cargo truck.

 

Because unlike the PH upgrade the point cost of Full Auto L2 is a joke compared to what it does.

 

Well 10 pts for almost full fireteam equivalent of firepower.

 

I tend to look at FA2 a bit differently...
As in I look at it as basically one of the three negative MODs in the game that have no countering skill/equipment ( Such as MSV1 negating Mimetism. ).

You could more or less say anything in a firefight with an FA2 model has -3 BS/WIP/PH(If it even affects dodges?).

 

FA2 Soggy is slightly scary, but the points cost feels quite steep.

 

Yeah like, he costs as as much as a Hac Tao

 

I find Sogs a pain in the ballsack to deal with mind, so if that cost stops people taking them I'm happy for them to not take it. :V

 

If I played Morats

I'd be pretty sad about the Sogarat

 

I actually like it. Points about FA2 power are well made. I just feel it should have a Lt. option as well.

 

If anything, it ( And the Raktorak Wildcard. ) has made collecting the MAF from scratch a lot easier at least.
