With the recent update to army, the disclaimer about Specialist Sergeants joining link teams has been removed. At the same time, the similar disclaimer about the Kurgat Operative Group and Support Group has also been removed. I checked the fireteam charts for both sectorials in my copy of 3rd Offensive, and neither list any such restriction. Just checking if this is an intentional change to these updated forces, or an accidental omission in both the fireteams list and Army. Thanks.
Thanks, appreciate it. I imagine it's a bit of thing going on right now. In the interest of saving opening another thread, do you know if the Onyx Fireteam Chart will be updated to allow them to use the new Rodok profile that has Haris? The profile is in Army for them to take, but without it being a legal fireteam it can't be used in that way I mean.
On a related note, in the Father-Knight profile it says "Father-Officers" can join Order Sergeants. Am I missing something; what's this unit?
Yes. As expected, the restriction is unchanged. The Fireteam notes on the wiki have been updated already.
Damn it. I really don't get the restriction on this, it just seems weird. Why are they so averse to our having a hacker in an OS fireteam? Every other faction can have a bog standard hacker in their line fire team. Ahhh well.
It's probably to keep the TO sergeant out of a link. On the other hand, I can't tell you why the hacker is listed as a spec sergeant because normally you don't want to put them links, and you have the option to shove a KHD Santiago in there.
