    Nimbus Plus?
A damn shame there doesn't seem to be a way to get a DTW or some CC into the Orc Link to make proper use of it.
Well at least the Monty or Vanilla's CC options might like it.

Also HECK YEAH NOT AN AHD.

Relax, you're doing fine. Loadout is a perect fit in this case.

    Loadout is the correct term.

I'm glad my insistent whining has paid off
Anyway, wow! that's awesome! certainly an interesting addition to a link team to say the least. I like the idea of sticking her in a link and letting her run off on her own once she gets up close.

I'll have to really think about how best to use Nimbus Plus....

I think it will be REALLY easy to -12 someone with a croc man. while you're probably not striking back at very good odds, it may be worth it if they're an MSV trooper or something.

Equipment for Orcs? Orcs affordable enough to run in Links? Patsy is neat and all, but as optimized as she is supposed to be 37 points for a Specialist with SMG is a truckload of points for basically a filler. Might also have NCO to alleviate the problem a bit more, but generally speaking her best feature is being a linkable HI FO.
Not sure I'll ever want to spend the Order on Nimbus+ for a guy holding a BS14 BSG, multiple targets or not.3 dice on 20s should beat most AROs handily and does not want a Numbus+ Zone anywhere near its template.

Getting Wildcard or can Link with Orcs? Neat, missed that part. Might actually make her useful (assuming Orcs in general are good enough to run in Links).

You can run up to two ORCs with up to three Fusiliers and Bipandra counts as a Fusilier. So, 2 ORCs, Garnett (Wildcard), Fusilier/Kamau/Clipper, Bipandra. Here is a valid FT for Varuna.

Also keep in mind there may be Varuna specific ORC profiles. it's possible they may bolt a chain rifle or nano pulsar onto one of them

Considering that an orc with a combi is currently 36 points, patsy looks pretty good to me all things considered. In general I'm pretty excited just to be able to use a fusiliers practically useless lieutenant order on her. Assuming that NCO is not going to be varuna specific it will be really nice for vanilla as well.

It's not for the BS, I would like nimbus to negate those link missiles b2. Makes them much safer to engage with an hmg especially if you're in a 5 man. Figure a kamau hmg: -3 cover, -3 mimetism and -6 poor vis with +3 range and +3 link b1. Meaning you're a single shot likely on a 5 or 6 for most basic defensive links. Meanwhile, the kanau has -3 cover and -6 poor vis with +3 range and +3 link b4. The Kamau comes out on a bs 10 b4 vs bs 5 b1 and you cut their crit rate in half. That alleviates so many headaches when dealing with opposing defensive links

    0/37 for a BS14 PH14 ARM4 W2 model with FO, SMG, Nimbus+ and D-charges? And Wildcard linkability?

Mm tasty. I’ll need an immediate model release please, gotta see what that PanO SMG looks like!

Likely much the same as ALEPH’s, especially if FGA got the contract.

Keep in mind that Patsy, in a way, is closer to18 points, if you bear in mind she basically generates a "free order" via NCO. If you weren't planning to use the LT order for anything else, that's pretty sweet.

So anyone thinking what I'm thinking? Patsy throws down Nimbus+ and then our Montessa can Move 8" + CC through that Nimbus+? Did Pano just get a "smoke" screen to cover our CC troops getting into melee?

I believe NCO can be used to activate link teams so Pasty is giving the LT order to her whole fireteam. Thats pretty great.

I imagine using Nimbus Plus to let rip with a Kamau HMG. Kamau HMG is hitting most things with 4 shots on 10s. Enemy hitting back is Burst 1 (2 if supressing) at -9 or worse. That's a nice way to manipulate the odds. I can even imagine using the Kamau to engage multiple suppressing enemies at once, splitting burst, because lots of suppressing opponents won't be able to hit back at -12.

The big downside I see is we don't have a PanO SMG yet, so converting her is going to be tricky!

I suggest using Joan as a proxy... to establish a proper level of fear for Patsy :D
