For anyone with experience with the old style Drone Remotes, there's this piece in the box I cannot make sense of and I could use some help with it.

It's just a single piece in each box and it doesn't seem to correspond to any of the promotional photos. It's not a head, arm, wing or tendril. It's a fairly big piece, about half the size of the body, with a concave part that slots in pretty well to where the head goes.

Does anyone know what the heck it is?

Is it the front of the one on the right?

It doesn't look like it. The body and the cyclops head form that by themselves.

Here's a few photos. I keep thinking it's an alternate head but it's massive compared to the others. I've included the other heads for scale.

Mystery solved. It was hiding in plain sight all along.

Those are the different faces. The different remote types had different faces. If you have the box, you can see there.

I used to have a pic, I'll see if I can find it.

    Edit: Beat me to it.

It's funny because the mystery head belongs to the M-Drone but the promotional photo mislabels the Q-Drone as the M-Drone. I'm glad there was some guidance on the box, I really wasn't expecting any.

I'm glad the case can be put to rest. Thanks for the help guys.
