So there's a lot of fantastic (if not cheap) Lt options in Vedic..what is your go to and why? For me it's shukra. Whenever I don't take it I feel like I'm behind the 8 ball. What about you?

Asura Lt2 Hacker MULTI Rifle. Always. ^^

    P.S. : It's OS, not OSS.

    Marut, Asura, or Shakti.

Operations SubSection. OS are Order Sergeants. Let's keep our abbreviations distinct ;)

I don't remember where, but Interventor himself claimed that proper abbreviations are OS and AS, however much I liked the other ones (OSS and ASS). So, OS it is.

Order Sargeants belong to Military Orders, so they can be MOOS. :-P

I'm a supporter of the double-s abbreviations, too. It nicely highlights the central feature of most Assault SubSection models.

As for lieutenant, right now I'm mostly running the Shukra, and the Strategos Lvl1 + counterintelligence is proving really good for a very strong opening round.
Once beyond hits, I'll start running Shakti, too.

And an Asura Lieutenant Lv2 is probably fantastic... But I've yet to experiment with it.

Maruts are special unicorns. I'm sure it can work, but it'll be very different lists.

Dasyu and Devas, I've no serious intention of testing as lieutenants.

I find myself typically going for the Asura MULTI Hacker. If I'm looking to diversify or expand the list a bit, sometimes I'll grab the Shukra or Deva. I haven't tried the Marut since OperationS released, there's just so many new toys to run that she doesn't allow....

I'm pretty interested in a Yadu box so I can try out a Yadu core team, where I'll run a Shukra or Shakti as the Lieutenant.

Either Shakti or Asura at the moment. Deva rarely, but I really should try a shukra

My man just doesn't want his cool greeks constantly being called ASS lolol

Also I'm quite partial to OperationS, I think that's a cool way to write it

Then they shouldn't have called them the Steel Phallus!

Every time I type "Steel" on my phone it auto suggests "Phallus", for the reason above.

Asura LT2 is very good in LI, but she can work well in 12-13 order lists, especially if you take a shukra CoC (counter intelligence) with her. You have a first group with 12 orders and some supports (warcor, zayin, EVO ...) in second.

This, I've run quite a few 11-13 order lists with the Asura because of Shukra

With the Asura Lt2 are you running her as the Spitfire or the Hacker? How aggressive are you with her? Obviously CoC avoids LoL but you'd still lose a quarter of your army if she dies.

I don't often run Chain of Command, but I tend to play the Hacker pretty agressively. I usually play with one Combat Group, so I don't always bother with a Shukra. I've been pretty happy with her both solo, and in a Haris with Shakti and a K1 Rudra.
