Sorry fellas, been busy on my life, not enough time to crop up some photos to post over. Today we got a very special photos - originated from another city of our country. Photos from Daegu, Incoming! Limited Crane Rank Agent, by Mr. 9mountain. The colors are following original color scheme, nicely painted and boldly lined up. More cartoon-like I'll say? Guijia. We were so amused when we saw that ad (백반 갈비찜), so we actually made one terrain tribute to it. Well, it doesn't include any copyrights anyway. Full Army shot of Mr. 9mountain. he's very proud of buying 16 Kuang Shis, new record in this land for sure. :) The Kriza Borac by @Jxuro , our fellow Warcor. He's very fond of adding a Kanji to his units. In this unit, an idiom was used. Mess-Slashing Swift Blade? Well, that's the best translation I can give out. The word seems to be really fitting to Kriza's position on Nomads. Metallic color and Red tint does work wonder, and yes please don't care about our poor old Morlock. Nomadian Battle Remote, Sputnik. Did you see something from its bases, rather than Kanji 'Obliterate'? The Base is actually a THICC Nomad emblem! surprise! getting a front arc, and a cheeky base. Nicely done! He plays StarCo too, and who's in the StarCo? Emily Handelman! Rather realistic bodysuit paintwork, and a lot of effort on her face. Well, did she had a big knife? His Spec-Ops, 'Zhao Yin'. This guy rolled a great time on our campaign, 'Operation : Moratorium'. Using Domoboi and [REDACTED] reaver head, this guy did look horrifying. Custom-made Spitfire, and a good base made this guy a real eye-catcher in our scene. After the event he actually drew a fan art of Nomad Spec-Ops' Bros! These guys really enjoyed our little campaign. And I'm glad it led to another posting of good minis in this thread. Thanks for watching, and prepare for surprise updates!
Thank you for your thread and compliment. The idiom(快刀乱麻) used in a Kriza Borac has a simpler translation called 'Cutting the Gordian knot'. I didn't know you could describe Chinese characters as 'Kanji'. How did you know that it was Japanese Chinese Character?
Weekly Updates! Today we got four people allowing for post. Hecklers (Jammer) - Aoriapple Steady member of group, newbie Nomadian is now in love with Tunguska Hecklers. He's favorite color, Purple, fits well with black coat with bold lines. Mr. Gambasman - Suryat Gambasman actually likes Yellow Jacket, and his MAF wears a yellow jacket. A bold chipping indeed - somewhat aggressive, but truly a battle-hardened Suryat to look at. Coldfront Exclusive - Tankhunter (Urban Camo) by Winsha A freelancer groupie, Mr. Winsha would like to introduce his Tankhunter Regiment. Such an eye-dazzling camo it is, all precisely marked up with fine brush. Wonder how many brush strokes he used for this single model. And we all wonder what's that big crusty she's stepping on. A low-vis, still a very fine work indeed! Definitely a go-to camo unit. Ariadna bunches by Uljin Kazak Spets. Uljin likes to paint models with a glowing effect, for Kazak, his lenses. Muscle paintings are awesome, but it is the eye.. That eye.. The superstar, Vet. Kazak. Desert-pattern, although I can't remember Ariadna having a desert biome. Can you see the skull mask? Yeap, Uljin-style Gasmask. glowy. scary. Mr. Winsha's Tankhunter was very bland and solemn, but Uljin's Tankhunter's more.. vivid. Although I like Uljin's painting style more. Did this guy actually painted the reflecting scenery of that goggle? That's all for today. Catch you guys later!
@ObviousGray I like the idea that he went out of his way to make an art piece like this. Puts a special meaning into the entire experience that all of you went through.
Also was a pleasant surprise for me - getting a fanart of your designed campaign is not a bad thing at all, actually.
It makes it more memorable. I hope you and all the participance will remember this for years to come.
16? I can see 8 (heck, I have 8 of the old ones!) But why on earth would you want/need 16? Brrrrrrrr.... I feel cold just looking at that one! Every time you post things, I keep getting more and more impressed. Please convey my congratulations to everyone for beautiful painting!
Hey all, not-so-lovely Monday. Today I wanted to celebrate the update of our LGC, 'The Old Dice', now updated with brand new mission markers and consoles. Our groupie LRDR would like to show more of his work, and he gladly joined me at the gaming stores - fine work as always. Today we used; Hospitaller Knight, Doctor (LRDR) Ice Storm Fusiliers (LRDR) Joan of Arc V2.0, Old sculpt (LRDR) Dire Fores VIP, CEO (LRDR) OS hacker (LRDR) and my Su Jian. Here we go! @Forbino1 's good products, I think? Cosmica Barrels are now supplied to our LGC. The place's been a new club, so we thought scatters were needed. :) I don't like that blurred lines of my Su Jian, frankly. Would love to have some time for fixing, still it's been a hard month for me.. Purple-Black for the win. No doubt this knight is awesome, anyway. Solo-Photo time, we wanted to take a good diorama picture after all. Aside from blurred Fusiler head, The Knight actually look really awesome and lively in this angle. The clothes work is one marvel - shame I couldn't introduce you guys to LRDR in face! Seraph... and another Fusiler guy. Looks like I could use some more elevations next time. Famous, beautiful Manga-style vixen girl, Magnaobra CEO. LRDR uses her as a HVT - well, she does suffer a lot nowadays. Today, but, she's not the star - the star is that Console! "What's this anyway, slumber party? for what?" "MOOOOOOM!!!!!" TFW when kids show when their parents dig up their internet logs. And a hacker OS, outbursting with joy when she heard MO updates. Have a nice week!
@ObviousGray The PanO color scheme is exquisite to look at. Even the old Joan is done so well you can't tell she is an oop sculpt. Plus your Su Jian is in natural motion with the changes you've done to the base and the paint looks wonderful as well.
Wow, just wow. There is no such thing as too much scatter terrain for a table. I recommend 40+ pieces per table, usually closer to 80. Sounds like a lot, but adds up in a hurry when you get 2 of any one thing, and get 30-40 different items.
I really gotta learn to do faces as gorgeous as you guys. Any of you have tried to paint either version of the Asura? I'd love to see her done by you wizards as she's my main gal
HAHAHAHAHAH i love the dol faces is this persona doll painter to ?? Do not like PO sepecialu Neo army But Neon army is a differentthing to do :)
Wow, thank you guys for the appeal! Since he gets some commission, and himself plays a MO mainly, I think aside from Asura painting request.. He won't paint an Asura first. Today we got fewer photos, everyone's painting like crazy but time matters. I do think @Ugin will post some of his good paintings soon enough, but lets get to the business. Blackjack from our Tigerland League, 'Infinity Underwear Wrestling' Season 3. One candidate actually full-painted his whole army, and the cherry was mighty Blackjack. And he did wonders for his master. :) Yan Huo Invincibles, by another Tigerland Candidate 'Kong'. White-and-Blue color, and some witty glowing effects are noticing. Very good job indeed. The famous bald-Wu Ming. I think the blue tints are quite cool for Yu Jing, too.. Kanren (Disguised as Zuyongs). Again, good Gooey proportions. FK vs Bandit, actually Bandit's pose is sufficiently low, so a real dynamic photo could be taken. Yeah, Bandit got busted after 2 orders (he couldn't penetrate FK's armor), but come on, photo's exceptionally cool! And my WIP model. Galwegian regiment Bannerman. I tried, well, at least. :) Hope this can be fielded someday. It will be awesome. This week we had a newcomer tigerland, so not too much pics for today. Still, I can post a poster. This will be our 'legal' poster for newcomer tigerland, 'Underwear Wrestling'. Have a great week, folks!
Been a hard week, but still got there's always more pics to upload. :) Ugin - Dynamic Duo We actually got the chance to photo up two Nomadian Fatboys. KB & Taskmaster, the Dynamic Duo! Red points of that artificial muscle does add 'Nomad' tint to the models. Admire his wash-works, not touching the upper parts. Best shot IMO. White balance was a bit broken, but now you can see the awesome layers even more closely! Winsha - Strelok & Pet dog Yeah, Beyond Coldfront is here - and every Ariadna player I see is overjoyed with Strelok. Mr. Winsha did too. Again, crazy delicate Camo patterns. Her mask was painted like Wolf's jaws.. because.. well, she tamed wolves? And the beast. a little bit of pose tuning, and man this guy is a menace. 'The Cursed Tail of Antipodes' strikes again! Now that's an S5 doggy. Great dynamics. See you guys around!
While watching the new product of this starter, I thought that I wanted to have my own model. Ugin's conversion gave me the inspiration for this grand work. It was an awesome conversion afterall. Since he was the best painter in Korea who fabricate black color into wonderous level, I asked him to paint my miniature (with a proper payment.), and it was totally worth it. xD Taskmaster lost his arm & ammunition, even losing his job. But oh Cold Cruel World of Infinity. art-knife and pin-vice was used on the HMG procedure.
