My FLGS just posted the codes for the upcoming new releases and there were Kaauri sentinels(COR280935-0748) listed among them. Has anyone heard anything about this? Are they repacking all 4 into a box? Are they repacking the sniper and SMG together since those are the favourites? Or could we be getting a new, actually S2, sculpt?
This wouldn't be whole without the MULTI mistake. Kaauri look cool, they don't need a resculpt imo. It's a bit strange, that while half the Infinity range missing, they started dishing out all the loadouts for them. Though once you had the body modeled, it should be easy to attach different weapons on them. Since reducing SKU is all the rage with CB, it didn't made much sense to release them in 2 separate blisters instead of 1 box. Similarly Sukeul, Sakiel, Kosuil should be put in one 2 dude blister. Though Sakiel is in the starter box, maybe they are confused about it being in two places. Maybe split up the starter, Sakiel, Ectros, Clipsos can go to their 2 piece blisters, and just drop Kamaels, nobody is using them. Or make a 6(7?) piece box with them, like a starter box, but combi + SWC boxes merged. It's good that something is happening with Tohaa.
They don't "need" it, but it still sucks that Corvus Belli released the models with them being the wrong size. When this happened to JSA or PanO, they fixed it one way or another. For Tohaa, they just don't care.
I can't imagine how could they look good half that size. Maybe just increase their S value to 2? Which JSA/Pano mini was the wrong size?
New Seraph sculpt was bigger than S7, so they changed the profile to match the new size. New Domaru were bigger than S2, so they delayed the release and fixed their size. Kawaii Sentinels were bigger than S1, so they did... nothing.
But at least they did something to fix the problem. With the Kawaii Sentinels and the Kerail Preceptor they did nothing.
CB don't give a shit about Tohaa. Enjoy spending more money on another faction if you started Tohaa as as your first faction when they first released like me.
Both of that is a buff. A mess up, but a buff. Don't try to be the victim here. Making the Seraph from S6 to S7, just because they messed up (the otherwise glorious) sculpt is a nerf. Tohaa got the better looks with better rules. There's nothing to complain about.
Why should PanO be salty anymore? The new salty standard ist YJ or Morat. And please, bring a little bit of understanding for the Tohaa player. It wasn't an easy year and we won't get something in the next half year too. But I think it's a good sign that they made a repack, therefore the option that Tohaa will be removed is nearly gone.
