After a longer delay than I had planned (the new deck is freaking huge, as it turns out), I've finally finished the Season X update to my Classified Objective Decks! Get them from my Infinity Tools page: http://www.captainspud.com/?page_id=2660#classifieddecks In addition to containing more objectives, the new cards needed indicators for several new elements– specialist icons, a differentiator for Normal/Extreme Mode, and Intelcom (because my old cards were made before it existed). My old card design didn’t have any really convenient places to put these things, so I went ahead and completely redesigned the card layout to cleanly integrate the new elements. Doing this allowed me to shift things around and open up more space for the main text area, which should hopefully make things marginally easier to read. Choose from four different colours of card backs-- Blue, Purple, Yellow, and Teal. Each deck has three different variations within its card backs-- a green stripe for Standard Mode, red stripe for Extreme Mode, and white stripe for a handful of Reference cards (mostly this is the Secure HVT card, but since I had some extra space in the deck, I also tossed in Booty and Metachemistry tables, as well as a Command Token menu). As with the previous version, the new decks are available in both English and French. Huge thanks to Wizzy and his friends at Bureau-Aegis.org for their assistance in getting everything translated. :) And finally, you have two options for acquiring the decks-- either download the PDFs and have them printed at a local print shop (I don't recommend doing them at home, you'll likely go through a third of an ink cartridge per deck), or buy the print-on-demand versions from PrinterStudio.com. (Note to angry CB lawyers: I make zero dollars off the sale of these, I just like the feel of smooth printing in my hands. :P ) And, there you go. Whether you're too cheap to buy the real deck, or just prefer cards with visual reminders on them, you now have your free alternative. Enjoy. :)
1) Fixed the Yellow A4 link 2) The new cards aren't in Hacking Helper yet. That's my next project . :)
I used your old deck until now. Meanwhile I have the new official one, but I am a bit disapointed, because to be honest, you use only half of the deck, because, no one use the extrem variant. I like your deck very much because of the cool design. So thank you for the good work and keep it up! The Hacking Helper alone is amazing :-D
National? He is a international planetwide Samaritan to the Human Sphere.... Thanks for your work Spud!
Love your work, Spud. So naturally, when they announced a new set of classified cards, all the retailers here sold out before I could get some. These will serve as a get-me-by until I can be bothered to get off my ass and buy a set when they come back INTO stock ... :D I showed a couple of players interested in getting into the game your hacker helper ... and they loved it. It makes that entire section of rules so much easier to introduce them to.
Thank you! I was rather upset that there would be new cards right after I bought a deck for my girlfriend as a gift. They are pretty elegant and easy to read. I thought about making my own, but I'm not sure how would I make anything better than yours.
Isnt the right thread for it probably, but @Captain Spud sucker punch in the hacking helper should be upgraded in damage, as its damage got buffed.
Fun story: I updated it on the day the book launched, but I adjusted the Stop! program instead of Sucker Punch by mistake. ~_~ I've just corrected the error. As always, you'll need to clear your browser's cache to get the update.
