@Nathelis Great work on the Tunguska force your building. I hope your next tourney goes much better for you. I'm guessing you are looking to get into the Invincible Army as well?
YuJing miniatures are my true love and Invincible Army has Power armors. NMM is my favorite style of Painting so yesssss it is for me. I just love the miniatures (even zanshi, zanshi are great). My personal problem with tournaments is that I only play tournaments, rarely any casual games. I should really practice...but practicing means painting less miniatures so its not an option. So go to tournament and loose but have a nice painted army is the middle ground and works for me. I really should not complain.
Really well executed paint jobs, they are super crisp and clean and the blends are so smooth. What blending technique do you favour?
On the contrary to @Golem2God , I must admit I'd get a certain perverse pleasure in massacring your army on the table and watching you removing all those beautifully painted miniatures and putting them back in the box.
Being a skilled player should be just as enjoyable as being able to paint well. My goal is to succeed in both categories though I guess I lean towards wanting to become a skillful player a little more.
hym this unit looks like something from onyx .. Duno what the current fluf is but design is fairy similar to CA units and painting - congrats another amazing job :)

its not so hard with brush if you have a good brush and 3.5x magnifying goggles. i can only recommend to all people try more freehands once you get started its not so hard
Absolutely right, this helps a lot, I use a lamp with a 3.5x magnifier. And the hard light helps with the blendings (at least for me)
Incredible blends and the free hand is just nuts... Wet blending you say...do you use any slow fluid retarder for blending ? I can't get the my wet blending to work, so I mostly use glazing and two brush blending.
no retarder. I dont know how to describe my blending..glazing and wetblending...something in the middle. it doesnt matter how you do it only the result in the end ;) but your blends are equal if not better so don't change what you are doing cause its working
