I got some green stuff and a few rollers to roll out textured bases (like this ), but I'm having trouble cutting out neat circles that look good on top of the plastic bases. Anyone got any tips? I was thinking a cookie cutter might work, but couldn't find any small enough for 25mm bases.
Tey to roll directly over the base an trim de ecxess that is what I did to mi JSA bases, also you can try to find a 25mm punch to cut clean circles, but that can be expensive...
Girlpainting found a cheap alternative that deserves some research: Have in mind that she's pure 40K, so her bases are 32mm. So, we need to find a good alternative. I thought i was smart because i went to a hardware store and got 25mm tubes until i realized this is the size of the full base and not the top we need at what seems to be a bit less than 20mm diameter (all the facepalms here), so i have to investigate further.
My process is to roll directly over a milliput-covered base, trim the excess with an old blade, and once dry regulate the circle using an old file (ones for wood are good enough, they will take color, however).
