For units like the sepulchre knight? Does the Aquila multirifle get much play these days? To be clear, what I mean is that profiles like Aquila MR could get a EB-like +LRL for 0.5 SWC to jazz it up a bit. I know the combi Sepulchre has DEP but that clearly isn't helping it.
multi-rifles are barely passing as far as non-swc weapons go, multi mkmn, mkmn, smg, bs all these weapons are where its at, it also depends on teh profile fascillitating play. and with only a MR, no skills for getting up table and the high cost teh Aquila MRs problem isnt that its got a MR.
Yeah, I've heard some interesting rumours about the Sepulchre. But Teutons getting Fireteams again has me quite excited about them as well. There's certainly more fun to come. Funnily enough, my biggest question right now is if it's just an artist error or maybe we ARE getting a Kamau Boarding Shotgun!
I'd call it flavour. We already have Bread and Butter, as well as salt (loads of salt). But I'm inclined to agree. 0.5 SWC utility backups haven't really been a thing in PanO so far. LRLs, MMRs etc that operate somewhere in between Combis and Spitfire/HMGs are so nice to have. Even on top of other weapons which makes it even better.
I had not thought about it before but vanilla Pano now has an HI KHD. The Santiago KHD which is a killer hacker with TWO WOUNDS and can engage in CC with cybermask.
Yeah, between the MO revival and Varuna (nothing much came out of Acon from this point of view) Vanilla PanOceania is going to need a fairly substantial re-evaluation as well.
As much as I like that Profile - it's first and foremost a Link booster. Sixth Sense L2 + Tinbot keeps him alive. Adding his incredible toolkit of 360 Visor, Nanopulser, D-Charges and again Tinbot to any Link you want is this guy's strength. Unfortunately he lost the E/M Grenades, but I don't mind too much. For Vanilla you'd still be mostly hamstrung by the Combi which makes taking him a lot tougher. What I'm currently looking forward to is him and a slightly cheaper and slightly reworked DeFeresen/FK Hacker in the same Link to make life into hell for any Hacker, Remote, HI or TAG within LOF and ZOC.
You say that like it's a bad thing! Yes, you want those! I cannot emphasize how much you want those! I have a set on my Yan Huo HRMC, though I really need to go back and fix it to have all 4 ammo hoppers, instead of just 3.
Oops, I meant it can use Cybermask. I goofed. English complicated :P lol Cybermask is important because it finally gives a Pano knight access to a mark state and all the shenanigans that allows with close combat. Ex, suprise attack for -6 opponent mod. Pano got good CC now? What?
Well, specifically one that suggests that they are getting a revamp into a real "command" unit and that one profile will have Chain of Command. That sounds like a lot to hope for, but MO have certainly getting the buffs!
Not trying to antagonise/cause grief - but I still have no idea why the Montessa bike is getting so much hate. Looks like the main viable means of touching destructible scenery items in ITS, and is one of the fastest moving attack pieces in the faction. Isn't it the only unit in Varuna capable of breaking AC2 units without resorting to 50% odds or less of punching D-charges?
