Hey. I was just reading through the book after some absence from the game and noticed that discover is in fact a short movement skill. Does this mean Discover + Discover is a legitimate order? If yes, can you use it twice against an Impersonation marker? Can you use it against two different camo markers in the same order? I couldn't really find any definitive answwr for N3.
Yes, Yes, and Yes. Discover + Discover is a valid declaration against a single or two markers. You've already found the answer since the rules have given you permission to declare two Short Movement Skills in the same order (without making an exception to Discover like the rules often do). Since both skills are resolved at the same time, the ban that camo and IMP has on declaring discover later in the turn doesn't really take effect.
In addition, note that the two Discovers being resolved at the same time means that you're only going to be able to reduce IMP by one level, not two - even with two successes.
Follow-up question: if you succeed one and fail the other, does that mean the same model cannot attempt discover against the impersonating model again in the turn?
Failing Discover prevents you from declaring Discover against the same Marker so succeeding one and failing the other results in the IMP-1 marker being replaced by an IMP-2 marker. I'd say that qualifies as a new marker, so is a viable target for a new discovery declaration.
