Greetings! I'm slowpoke painter trying to collect some army. As the thread name suggests, there will be photos of my progress (if there will be any progress). For starters I'll post stuff I've already made. The most recent addition is mounted Yojimbo: Spoiler: More of Yojimbo here! And here comes a pack of his bloodthirsty koalas: Spoiler: More of 1st koala Spoiler: More of 2nd koala Also i have one of his best buddies - Rui Shi aka tabouret of death: Spoiler: More of Rui Shi I have some more painted minis which I'll show later.
Thanks for feedback, much appreciated! And next bunch of minis coming in, some cheerleaders this time: Spoiler: More of 1st Keisotsu Spoiler: More of 2nd Keisotsu Spoiler: More of 3rd Keisotsu Spoiler: More of Tokusetsu
All minis here are really cool. Especially love the colour scheme for the Rui Shi+Yojimbo and of course the free hands.
Mostly impressive. The free hands are absolutely gorgeous. It's also interesting to see someone using metallics on infinity miniatures. Somehow the links to keisotsu pictures are not working for me. This forum is still a mess.
Thanks guys! Was using metallics. =) Abandoned this idea for now. Is there something that I can do to fix that links problem? I assume that you talking about one on rui shi and tokusetsu. Not 100% sure if I remember it correctly, but somehow like this: Spoiler: Reveal those bottles From left to right: AV Fantasy-Pro 74.001 Nocturna Shadow AV Model Color 70.985 Hull Red Scale 75 Fantasy & Games SFG-11 Bloodfest Crimson AV Model Color 70945 Magenta AV Model Color 70.944 Old Rose Also some black and white. Black&white priming, then overlay with Bloodfest Crimson (it's quite transparent). Shading with Hull Red, adding Nocturna Shadow for deeper shadows (probably to 50:50 ratio, to be honest I do not measure) and some black in extrem if needed. It was a part that I'm sure about. For lights I've painted some sketchy gradients with white and then i've painted over with red paints. If its not something shiny (tokusetsu hakama pants) then glazes with Bloodfest Crimson + some Magenta should suffice (and I'm not really sure on magenta part). In case of more reflective surface (her medpistol) I was adding Old rose, probably up to pure one.
For some reason these images don’t display properly (I’ve tried on a couple of devices). Not sure if it’s just me who can’t see.
Well, I've reuploaded all pics in keisotsu related post via forum attachments. Hope it will work now. I haven't counted but probably something around 40-50 hours.
Some updates! Painted up my Kuge. Really cool sculpt, but... Too. Much. Flowers. Damn, they will hunt me in my dreams! Spoiler: More of Kuge
