Hi lads, as a long time player I got a bunch of older models along the new scale, shiny ones. So I am wondering before taking more of the old ones, is there a list of the upcoming resculpts for Nomads? Like the support pack that, if I remember well, is so old that spans even before N2 ...?

So is there a list out there that I failed to find?

    Thanks

No, CB only announces a short period in advance. At present, their Nomad focus is on Tunguska, with many units lacking any minis. I would suggest it is doubtful we will get any resculpts in the foreseeable future.

The Nomad support pack is a mix, Crewcut McMirrorshades is N1/early N2. The Servants came with the original Human Sphere if I remember correctly, and then the doctor is post-Paradiso/late N2, replacing the infamous "cheeky catgirl" Daktari.

if we do see more resculpts it wont be until late Q1/ early Q2 next year, and with other factions getting their multi rem box and support packs getting resculpted id imagine ours wont be too far behind. (despite desperately wanting the lizard and pupniks to be redone)

Ah, if only there actually was a list of resculpts. I would finally be able to make up my mind about getting that REM box. (We wantsss that sssweet TRbot, yesss, we do... But it could be resssculped in nexssst month or two, what to do...)

    Get both? :P

You can simply use the older bots for 8pt flash bots if you do get a resculpt. Plus I magnetize my Zonds anyways so I can switch them between gun, missile, and flash and I'm looking at getting a second box myself. :P

New remotes are coming at some point, I guess, given the Haqq and ALEPH ones. As for older ones... STARCO. Let the mercs used some older designs. :p

More like, 'supplementing' the Catgirl. The Catgirl is apparently still one of the best-selling CB minis of all time, not to mention month-after-month.

I'd really like them to do an updated Support Box at some point. That YJ and Haqq have got them makes me feel hopeful!

My hope is new Support Packs and S3 Remotes are coming for everyone - they're generally some of the oldest minis still out there.

They are, and I do hope for new Support packs all around, but I think Haqq is the only ones getting new S3 REMs. The Chickenbots were always a bit wonky, considering that bipedal movement is a lot harder than crocodile-plan quadrupedal like all the other REMs (and even Haqq Kameels).

Any new REMs for YJ would have to be really damn impressive to get me to replace all 10 of my old Yaokongs. (For a while I had more money than sense, and wanted full AVAs of things)

But it's certainly possible that everyone will get new REMs as CB goes through and digitally resculpts them. All the S3 REMs (and maybe the S4s) are long before digital sculpting happened, date to 2006 or 07.

Aleph *sadly* disagrees. I'll have a surplus "fat Lamedh" btw, as soon as Beyond Coldfront gets out (I will use the new Rebots as Rudras).

Yeah, ALEPH makes me think it's happening. I do want to get some old YuJing ones first, though, use them with JSA. IA seems like about the time there may be hints of more Remotes, as such an HI heavy army may have more use of remote support.

Zonds are neat, and not in need of some dull 3D resculpt, on the other hand the support pack to me lacks the typical nonsensical nomad aesthetics we love. Apart for late 80s Mirrorshades Clockmaker that is rad as it is old, Daktari is so awfully plain and forgettable, zondbots are nice though.

However I fear 3D sculpts 'cos as they are top notch and amazing for infantry and TAGs sometime are awfully all lookalikes with REMs. Even Hollowmen sucks, as they seem salvaged and retro engineered Onyx junk.

I'm painting a zond remote right now and it's showing it's age quite badly, I would gladly buy a resculpted pair.

I thought those were the new S4 Rudras, not replacement S3 Rebots?

Nope, the S4 Rudra comes in the Beyond Coldfront box with Shakti and the Apsaras, and Shakti is a must have model for Vanilla and OSS, while the Apsaras is another one useful for Vanilla (KHD 19pts 0 SWC, only the mk1 Posthuman is a cheaper hacker but it costs 0.5SWC) and very important for OSS (Jumper LZ turns the Apsaras into a Pupetteer, but affecting an already existing fireteam, by turning all remotes inside into BS13, PH13, WIP 14, with NÂș2 skill).
The Rudras per se in Beyond Coldfornt looks like a Rebot with extra armor welded, quite in the line of the already existing Rebots. The NEW Rebots (the ones I will use as Rudras... grundgrinly) look, at least for me, better suited for duty as Rudras (with a change of base).
