It's available! https://assets.infinitythegame.net/downloads/itsrules/season10/en/v1.0/season10.pdf All MI have forward deployment 1 No need to put the Template for AD, you just put the mini on the table and roll PH! Several classified objectives which doesn't require a specialist, and several new scenarios. It's looking really promising :)
Some new Classifieds are bonkers. Also CB stop trying to make Singh usable without actually changing his profile..... A lot of new classifieds are a bit crazy. Sad that my MO cannot actually use that much new CC oriented classifieds ;( (in contrary to force such as Corregidor)
That first post sounded so fake, but it's not and I'm suddenly very scared of USAriadna grunts and marauders.
It gets better: Yu Jing didn't need the help, as they have been doing so well and they have been the apple of CB's eyes, we don't want them to get pampered.
MI buff boosts mostly USAriadna so it's not half as bad. But this few inches of tankhunter deployment might be a difference between mediocre and perfect position and that's scary. I would rather have hand-adjustments to the units rather than a general rule like this. I think that's a bit lazy thing to do. Forward deployment seems to be more suitable for LI infantry rather than MI anyways.
So, does the Xenotechnologist have a profile? It mentions that to place the multiscanner, they have to succeed in a WIP roll, while their Controller of CivEvac performs an Idle skill.
I'm not saying that some (many) MI needed "something", but some of them are really becoming very, very scary with that buff (Sin-Eaters, Intruders, Tankhunters etc.) While some will become "just a bit more desirable" (for example MR Black Friar).
These all encompassing huge buffs feel like a lazy patch that doesnt solve the actual problems and creates imbalances between factions. It felt like that with the TAG patch and it feels like that now.
For me, the TAG patch makes so much sense, though. If the gun on this massive robot is taller than the average person, why would it be shooting the same caliber of ammunition as a light infantry unit with an HMG?
I really like the changes. The deviation from everything needing a Specialist is good, and I like the Xenotec rules. There are a couple items that need clarification, such as Frontline, do you get the 1 point for dropping the scanner in ANY quadrant, in your home quadrant? There is no clarification that I can find. I love how characters get Veteran as well, that's great! I also look forward to Forward Deployed Sekban!
They are boring/tax for solo Rambos who cannot SyncCiv (so E:Impetues mostly, REMs etc., synced -> Rasail)
Good lord these new classifieds. I am happy that characters got better. The AD buff is going to be insane. Hellcat BS and Raul are now terrifyi g.
How is giving veteran status to characters makes them any better? Honest question, no sarcasm or sth.
